The hotel was quiet and the meal options were good. The other section of the hotel called Cornwall Beach was way better though in terms of food options and the modern lobby and coffee station was a wonderful touch. The checking process was not good. I arrived at 2:30 and finally got my room at 5:00. A whole day wasted for such a short trip of just 2 nights. Another thing was that a particular staff member in the snack area was asking for tips which we found inappropriate since we had just stepped foot on the property. We were also rudely awakened by a cockroach on night 2 of our stay this is quickly dealt with by my partner. The beds in the standard rooms were also very hard. We didnt have proper sleep throughout the stay. The days spent at the beach, seeing the views, eating at the Cornwall section of the property made it worthwhile. They need to update the Montego Beach section and get rid of the lenghthy checking in process. It dampens the whole trip.

Food was great and for the most part the property was ok. About 30-40% of the staff are very rude, rolling their eyes at you and making you feel like you’re inconveniencing them with the simplest requests and questions. Overall just a very average experience at best. If you’re able to spend more, I would recommend another hotel

The food was good, I would say a 7/10. The overall service was about 5/10, I think they can do more interactive beach and pool activeness throughout the day. But we made it our own and had fun. The rooms were clean and the cleaniness was maintained. I would suggest upgrading the bathrooms though.

I wanted to be in the heart of things which is why I chose Grand Decameron. The staff were very nice, even returning my phone after I left it in the room after checkout. The food options were a good mix of Jamaican and other options. The entertainment was very fun and the only thing I might have a complaint is upgrading the rooms. Besides that, it was an excellent time!

Not what they advertised for rooms The elevator is not working and they don't plan on repairing it The property is old with rotten wood They do not provide wash clothes the towels are old, dinghy and rough as sandpaper 1 liter of water per room with no cups no mini bar The fan made noise the faster it span The entertainment was ok. The staff 5 stars, the pool was nice, the beach is nice n clean The food was not bad taste good but would like more options. Drink are not watered down 5 stars. 5 min from the airport close to night clubs and shopping. No airport transportation.

The floor in the room was not clean, toilet seat was broken and maintenance came to fixit it. Dirt coming from the bathroom vent. Dirty bathtub with no bath mat. Broken tiles under the bathroom sink. Not enough towels and toiletries. The food was ok but nothing exceptional. The staff was pleasant and professional.
