The property purports to be 5 star but it was in Reality a 3. Likes- swim up rooms with modern decor, modern lobby, large well maintained beach and water front. Lots of shaded seating. Dislikes- super slow staff, minimal staff for simple things like baggage check, maintenance, bar , housekeeping. Roaches in my room, clogged shower that we waited over and he to be fixed making us late for dinner. Lack of Jamaican food. Too much American food- and even with the American food( ie tex mex and steak restaurant) the execution was subpar, tasteless , over cooked or raw. Kids club only open till 5. No possibility for adults to have an evening out. Property itself was awesome, well maintained, water park was awesome ..my 12 yo rates it a 4. Again the only saving grace for me was the cleanliness and modern decor and well maintained property. Everything else needs some serious work. A suggestion to the hotel mgr.. if it’s off season and you can’t have your A-team staff to represent- close half the hotel and consolidate the staff for better service and coverage.
