Had a great experience at the S, front desk was very helpful & serviceable if anything I needed when asked it got handled within superb timing. Location is key & the S is literally 5mins from the airport so it is super convenient. Not if but when I go back to Jamaica (Montego Bay) I would return to the S without a doubt.

I celebrated my 50th Birthday on the 12th and spent a week at the SHotel Montego Bay. This was indeed the best vacation ever! The staff at this boutique hotel were excellent and pleasant. Nothing in life is perfect so I will list some things below, but these things did not impact my overall rating. King Suite Ocean View room - was beautiful. The beds were too hard for my taste but I eventually adjusted. The room was very clean and kept clean daily by housekeeping. This is a smaller resort so it is easy to hear the traffic on the hip strip. The nighly entertainment was right outside our balcony which overlooked the pool and the ocean. We could enjoy right from our room. The food was satisfying. The escovitch snapper at the pool grill was the bomb!!! So fresh and delicious! I had one too many. The Roots Rock restaurant was fantastic. Oxtails did not disappoint nor did the service! The only restaurant available to book on my actual birthday was the seafood one on the main level next to the lobby. That was the only one I didn't care for. We got the shrimp and pasta and it was a super small portion so much so that we left and went to the buffet afterwards to round out the meal. The live music however was fantastic. A gentleman played piano and sang. He was awesome! Could have listened to him all night. Wished he was part of the live nightly entertainment by the pool. The Jam Rock restaurant was pretty good as well. We had the filet which was prepared well

I’ll start by saying we had an overall great vacation in Montego Bay but I did have some things I’d like to point out in case anyone is like me and values reading traveler reviews when choosing where to stay. The S Hotel is a short distance from the airport and is located on a strip that allows for walking to shops and restaurants. We felt safe in doing so. The property is built on a fantastic piece of land. Do not skimp out on an ocean view. Speaking of the room, the front desk was able to accommodate my early check-in request and the room itself was beautiful. The overall vibe of the hotel is really great. The food was fantastic although the restaurants require a reservation and are only open certain days of the week. As for the service, some of the staff were just plain rude - some but not all. We were often made to feel as if we were a pain to be waited on. Nothing difficult about us and we tipped everyone that waited on us all week long. The stretch of beach you’re on is stunning. Back to the service, you’re only allowed to order 2 drinks per day on the beach and you can only order a beer, rum punch and water. So no margarita or piña colada or even a soda. I can’t even confirm that I was waited on 2X every single day so that was really unfortunate considering we paid for an All Inclusive vacation. Also, the beach closes at 6pm. A flag goes up and you have to pack up and leave. That was also a disappointment.

3 Stars – Disappointed This Time I really wanted to love the S Hotel, but unfortunately, this stay was a letdown. The staff experience was inconsistent—some were helpful, while others seemed uninterested or inattentive. The rooms are starting to feel dated and in need of some attention. Most disappointing of all was the food, which lacked the quality and flavor we were hoping for. It’s a shame because the property has potential, but this visit just didn’t live up to expectations. Hoping they can turn things around.

Property is definitely a vibe and decent. However the pictures are not UPDATED. DO NOT EXPECT WHAT YOU SEE ON TIK TOK OR INTERNET. They look as if they have been there for 10+ years.The staff is amazing & food by outside pool bar is great. The buffet had limited option but for the most part they had okay food. It just depends on what they served. If the property was updated the experience would be 10/10. If you are looking for luxury hotel this is not necessarily the best stay. Do not be fooled by tik tok like we were! Lastly & again the staff was AMAZING. (Minor roaches + lizards seen) which is why I won’t stay again.

Had the most amazing time at S Hotel. The pool chair options were impressive. The scenery was breathtaking. The food was delicious, except for the Rock Steady restaurant, their food was bland, but everything else was really tasty. The ambience in Roots Rock, JamRock and all over was nice. The have a cafe where you can get smoothies, coffees and treats. I have never visited a resort twice, but I am considering coming back to this one.

Property attached to Doctor's Cave one of the best beaches in the world. The jerk chicken by the pool is awesome! There are minor repairs due to wear and tear that hopefully will be kept up with. Also, breakfast buffet was cold. I enjoyed my stay, and any issues were promptly dealt with. Would revisit.

This is my first time at the S hotel since it has become all inclusive. It’s peaceful lots of couples are around and it’s in a very walkable area. The food was okay we did the floating breakfast which was just the free breakfast in a floating basket. For 75 pp. We weren’t able to experience the seafood restaurant but the Jamaican restaurant was really good and the Italian restaurant had great bread. Cleanliness was okay the shower had a plant in it that would stink we thought someone had passed gas before discovering the scent .

We didnt like our room it was too close to the pool and noise. We had no privacy. We asked to move to a higher floor or upgrade, staff moved us up one floor in the same location which did not improve. we did enjoyed walking the beach and Jimmy Clift blvd

I recently stayed at S Hotel and had a wonderful experience. The overall atmosphere was calm and serene, making it a perfect getaway. Its convenient location near shopping centers and tourist bars added to the appeal, allowing for easy access to local attractions. While the amenities were decent, I found that the bar closed earlier than expected, and making reservations for certain activities was a bit challenging. However, the staff was consistently nice and helpful throughout my stay, which made a significant difference. I would definitely recommend S Hotel if you're looking for a peaceful resort with beautiful views. It's a great place to relax and enjoy the tranquility.
