The resort was average - nothing particularly special. Upon arrival, a “Happy Birthday” banner for my boyfriend, which had been prearranged during booking, was missing. It took two days and multiple follow-ups before it was finally put up, which was disappointing. We also encountered a leak in our room, and it took staff over 2hrs to move us, despite the urgency. While waiting, we met another couple who were also experiencing issues—mold in their room. That raised broader concerns about maintenance and responsiveness. The spa, beautiful. The food and drinks were passable but not memorable. The pool in the preferred area often appeared neglected and unclean, which affected the overall experience. Considering the price point, I expected a higher level of service and facility upkeep. While Jamaica itself is stunning and the destination is well worth visiting, I would likely choose a different resort next time.

The overall staff was absolutely amazing. The biggest drawbacks were that the property seemed dated. There was scaffolding around some of the buildings, but I never saw any work being done. The part of the building our room was located, you could visibly see a huge whole in the roof above us from the beach down below. We had no issues with room however. The food was good, I wish they offered a buffet style dinner option instead of all ala carte. The pool swim up bar was one of the deepest I’ve ever been to, and they closed way too early everyday (5pm). Again the staff was amazing, and I expected more from a Secrets property, but overall I would recommend.

Beautiful spot for a honeymoon! Staff were welcoming and friendly. Our butler, Adia, made our stay the best stay ever. She reserved spots for us on the beach every morning along with a cooler of drinks and reserved our place at dinner each night. Food and drinks were delicious and we got the perfect weather in early July. We highly recommend the preferred room experience for honeymooners. Will be back again! Wonderful vacation.
