Would give 0 stars if I could. My daughter got the smallest amount of washable crayola marker on the bedspread. I should have tried to get it out but I really didn’t think much of it because it’s gotten on our clothes and stuff before and it comes right out. The following week I look and I have a charge for 113 from the hotel and call and find out it’s a charge for the marker. I couldn’t believe it the woman told me I needed to be more careful in the room and that they are running a business. I asked if I could get a picture or pick the comforter up myself to clean because I could get it out and the woman said she could not do that. I told her I would leave a review so people would know they should watch out to make sure they are not scammed as well and she said okay. I never leave reviews but I would like to stay true to my word. Also think that they should have called and left a message with me to make me aware of this “incidental” but they probably figured they could get away with being unnoticed in transactions.
Where do I start. The owners in the office are rude. There were hairs all throughout the bathroom and in the bed. A red stain on the sheet. I went to the office and the owner was there, she said they had no extra bedding or blankets for that matter. Each room is provided exactly 1. The baseboard was rusted and the bathroom had mold on the ceiling. When you turn on the shower the drain smells like rotten eggs. Then when you wake up, there was conveniently construction going on. Overall, stay at Days Inn right down the street for the same price.
Got put in bedroom w two queens rather than a 1 king. Was clean and comfortable but a little dirty. Blinds didnt close all the way, and bright lights from outside bled in all night.
The owners are such friendly and helpful people. Check in and out was quick and easy. Our room was clean and comfortable. The location is walking distance to restaurants and entertainment. This is our second time here for the MotoAmerica races at Laguna Seca and we’ll be back next year.
Pictures are deceiving. Hotel was just “okay”. At check in the front desk staff tried to charge me an extra person fee saying my oldest child was older than 12. I told her I input all that information when booking and was already charged the fee. She insisted she must charge me an additional fee until I pulled out my phone and showed her the hotels.com receipt with the charge. Her response was that the information doesn’t always come through and she apologizes and then “upgraded” us to a room with a fireplace. I appreciate the attempt at repair but it annoyed me. Then our lights didn’t work (a prior guest must have unplugged them behind a night stand) - took ages to figure that out. Toilet ran all night. Beds were hard. Given how many options are available in this price range and below, I’d choose elsewhere. Check reviews on Yelp - they seem more accurate.
