I wasn’t warned of parking cost. I received a handicapped room but didn’t ask for it. The shower in the room was broken so it sprayed water at my belly the whole time. That needs fixing. 3 out of the 4 staff were great. One, not so much.

The staff was very accommodating with good instructions for late check in. Replied quickly with any questions I had by text. Great location! Walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants.

The hotel was in a good location and seemed clean but it was pretty run down and could use some TLC. We didn’t have coffee in our room and the lobby was supposed to open at 8am where they had a nice coffee machine but I was there a couple minutes after 8 and it still wasn’t open. Overall it did the trick for a descent place to stay for one night.

Wonderful Stay

I was delighted with my spacious and pretty room. I kept thinking someone must have had a lot of fun decorating it. There were real oil paintings on the wall and everything was spotless. It had everything I needed including a refrigerator and microwave, a balcony, and even a fireplace. There were plenty of electrical outlets to charge all of my devices and a tv with a variety of channels. I love that the floors were a clean attractive hard surface and not carpet that you can't trust in most hotels. The bathroom was pristine and modern.

Definitely not a quiet location! Lots of traffic, the sea lions are LOUD, and common courtesy from other hotel guests was not happening. We wanted a hotel with character and this one fit the bill. Nicely located to central shopping area, and more like a 20 minute walk to the aquarium if you are in good health. Lots of places to eat surrounding the area too.

The hotel is close to everything so we just walked everywhere. The room is nice and clean. The bed is comfortable. We will stay here again when we go back to Monterey.
