Everything! The lady at the front desk was so patient with me. The room was adorable. Loved the cozy fireplace. Will definitely stay here again.

My husband lit the fireplace and had the hairs burned off his hand!! It blew back on him. Room was very dated. Chairs worn out. Bathroom super small, toilet very low. No lamp or bedside table on one side of bed. We were in back of property by garbage cans. Would not recommend. Not enough parking for the number of rooms. All in all not good experience.

We were disappointed in the room we got. It didn't look anything like the photo online and had an odd layout with a second bathroom. There was a lot of rust on the wall where the bath was in the main bathroom that was unsightly. There is no guaranteed parking; the lot only allows ~10 cars to park and if it is full, then you have to park on the street where the parking is 2 hours from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. We were also annoyed that the windows to our room looked out to a parking spot where cars other than ours could park literally parallel with our windows. There were also no extra amenities with this inn... One of the only nice things about this place was the walking distance to downtown Carmel, but there are many options for that if that is what you are looking for.

Rooms were very clean. Nice staff. Nice front office with coffee and tea. Loose bricks so be careful walking. Great location. Enjoyed the fireplace a lot.

Good communication from the front desk, the room was clean, & the staff was accommodating overall. It is located close enough to walk to shops & restaurants. Not far from the main beach on Ocean Avenue. Thank you. We will return.

The hotel gave us a family friendly, tranquil vibe the whole time that we stayed for our three day vacation. The location was perfect if you want walkable to restaurants and convenience store. It has a quaint cottage feel, the rooms are big, clean, and staff are friendly. Will come back here again and will recommend it our family and friends.
