I was able to hear my neighbors talking in their room, my neighbor’s phone alarm in the morning, shower, toilet, TV. Basically it felt like there was no wall between us. The staff was excellent and friendly.

Beautiful quaint hotel
Excellent stay at Casa Munras. Quaint with a lot of history but rooms are all updated. Had a King Suite w/ Fireplace and used the fireplace a lot! Outdoor pool is warm. Restaurant serves a very good breakfast. Parking is not free though.

We loved the king fireplace room. It was big cozy and had great decor. The amenities were nice and we had a long bike ride with the complimentary bikes. The only issue was the gym needed attention to sanitation, such as an abundance of wipes and hand sanitizer. The staff did put new wipes in the gym after we asked. Overall, a very nice property and room for the price.

My wife and I had an incredible stay at Casa Munras Garden Hotel in Monterey! The grounds are beautifully maintained, creating a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. Our room was immaculate and cozy, with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. The on-site restaurant offered delicious meals, and the staff went above and beyond, always warm and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. Casa Munras is a true gem in Monterey, and we can’t wait to come back!

This is one of our favorite locations to stay at when visiting Monterey. Staff is friendly, the area is walkable, it’s close to many restaurants and shops, and the beds are comfortable.

This hotel is a little gem!
The location is excellence if you want to walk to restaurants and entertainment. The Hotel staff was very responsive and polite. The restaurant on site was delicious with great service. Shrimp appetizers and oysters are solid. 200 years and still a going. This hotel is a gem.
