This was a great, affordable place to stay with parking and nice deck. The rooms were nice and clean but I was very hot at night, I am not sure if there was AC available. Other than that, it was great! And great location!

The property is very dated. The area is a few blocks away from Alvarado Street which is the main street downtown but not walking distance to Cannery Row. The hotel had no amenities. There was no house keeping but I asked for clean towels and shampoo and they gave me shampoo and a plastic bag and said when I came back from my day out I had to put all my wet dirty towels in the plastic bag call them and then they would pick up the old towels and bring new ones. I thought they had limited towels but there was a laundry room full of them. Ice machine did not work. Overall it was overpriced for an old motel.

Loved the location. Close to the wharf and historical places as well as restaurants and bars. Although the breakfast was not hot breakfast it did have a toaster and hard boiled eggs for protetin.

Great location. Perfect for walking downtown. The back of the property has a nice little stream and trees. We have seen deer rest on the property as well. Little dated but clean , safe and the staff is great.

We enjoyed our stay except there was no A/C and there was 4 of us in this tiny room with no air. Only a sliding door which was ground level so didn’t feel safe leaving it open not knowing the area. It got very stuffy in there by the morning. Other than that it was a great stay.

Great hotel with exceptional staff

Great hotel close to Fishermans Wharf and Cannery Row. Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good selection and we enjoyed it on the private patio. We will be back to stay here again!

We had a lovely stay at Colton Inn. The location was amazing (quiet and in walking distance of the ocean) and the staff were very friendly. When we first arrived, we had an unexpected issue with our room, and the staff were very kind and helpful with helping us solve the issue. The continental breakfast was small, but had enough options to keep us full. The price for the room was excellent given the area as well!
