We rented 2 rooms. Our room was missing a desk and the lamp was unplugged sitting on the floor. We had coffee fixings but no coffee maker. Alarm clock was behind the TV. bathtub had no stopper and missing the cover in front of the tub. They never made the bed the next morning for some reason, they replenished the towels, but that was it. The second room the cable plug had been ripped out of the tv and the front of the tv had a crack in it. Needless to say it didn't work. The iron was missing. They made the bed but didn't replace the toiletries.

Carpet was dirty, bed was worn out and hard/extremely uncomfortable. Nine of the ten Cinemax Stations either had no audio or were in Spanish. Free breakfast was pathetic at best. Didn’t eat any of it…Coffee machine looks like it has never been cleaned. The coffee was not drinkable, tasted burnt and old/dirty. However the water pressure ( shower ) and temperature were good and the lighting in the bathroom was adequate.

Dust all of the head boards, nothing was clean and towels were dingy. TV didn’t work. Weird paper signs everywhere. Beds were super hard. We booked a king and were given 2 queens, tried to call front desk multiple times and they wouldn’t answer.

Room was clean and booked one day in advance. Lobby was barren and had to call/ring bell for staff and then wait a few minutes. Hospitality not on the agenda. No explanation of hotel amenities, wi-fi, breakfast etc. check out- no staff at desk. Billing was accurate.

This place was adequate nothing to write home about but sometimes that's not a bad thing. I did talk to some other guests that have stayed there in the past that said it use to be a lot nicer and that's why they choose to stay there this time. Didn't sound like it was meeting there expectation anymore. It did take a little long to go back and forth to are points of interest because of traffic so probably won't stay there if we go back just because of that.

Don’t recommend!!!
The rooms had an awful oder, the front desk staff was never available when needed. When they were available the man was very rude didn’t want to help because our card key wasn’t working as we couldn’t get into our room. Overall I will never be staying here at all!

The furniture is awkward and outdated. Some areas are sticky to the touch. My room didn’t have a table or office chair. It had this large armchair close to the night stand instead. Breakfast had sausage and eggs though!

I recently booked a two-night stay at Comfort Inn in Watsonville, CA, hoping to enjoy a relaxing vacation by the beaches in Santa Cruz County. I booked through Expedia and opted to pay at the property. To my surprise, I received an alert from my bank about a charge from the hotel, which was declined due to suspected fraud. This was my first red flag. Upon arrival, I was not greeted—by JAY, the front desk, and also the manager. He was incredibly rude and dismissive, failing to offer even basic courtesies. His attitude was appalling, and he seemed completely uninterested in addressing any of my questions. The room was a nightmare. It was poorly cleaned, with hair in the shower and dust all over the air conditioning unit. The showerhead was broken, causing water to splash everywhere, making it nearly impossible to use. To make matters worse, I found a used condom wrapper by the bedside and under the bed. The overall cleanliness and maintenance were utterly unacceptable. Adding to the horror, there was a dead rat on the property grounds, which was disgusting and a clear health hazard. When I approached JAY to cancel one of the nights due to these numerous issues, he was unhelpful and dismissive. He refused to clean the bathroom, fix the shower, or address any of my concerns. His complete lack of customer service skills was astonishing. Based on this horrendous experience, I strongly advise against staying at Comfort Inn Watsonville, CA.

Avoid this hotel!
Terrible management. Avoid this property if possible. We had a 3-day reservation and the lobby was closed and locked when we arrived at 9:45. The advertised closing time was 11 PM. It took 45 minutes to get into a room, which was not our reserved room. The next morning the front desk was closed until mid-morning. We decided to check out and find a better hotel. The hotel charged our credit card for three nights instead of one. I called to get the charge corrected when it appeared on my credit card transaction list but the hotel refused to correct the charge. I had to dispute the charge with Visa to get this charge corrected.
