Great location!

Have stayed here before & they were updating it then. It is very nice now. Love having the fireplace! Great hot water and the location can't be beat!

We got in early the room was ready. Very clean cute room my gf loved it. Close to the beach not walking distance. The pictures are misleading showing the beach so i thought it was right there.

We arrived and the receptionist was not welcoming at all. The room was old and requires updating (ie the sink cover missing, fireplace was very low, the towels were torn, no ice available! Worse of all, the bed was very hard and uncomfortable! I will neither stay nor recommend this place, very disappointed!

Older property that has some “wear” but location is awesome being close to one of the finest beaches in Monterey County. It’s clean, quiet and convenient. We will stay again even tho the in-room coffee was awful😂. The pricing is reasonable for the facility and the desk is very friendly.
Saw deer every day near the motel
Asilomar beach is about a 10 minute walk from motel

The hotel and room was nice and comfortable. The temperature outside was very nice in the 60s, but we were unaware that the hotel room had no air-conditioning, which wasn’t a problem, but had it been warmer it would’ve been.

This is an affordable older motel less than a block from Asilomar. We’ve been there twice and get an upstairs room, which has always been quiet. Then we can stroll over to the Asilomar Lodge ( for a drink) and down to the gorgeous beach.

Quaint and quality

Very friendly check in. I was pleasantly surprised with this property. It is an older style motel property, but the owners have taken the utmost care in making sure it is pristine for guests. It was incredibly clean and well kept. It was quiet and in a very nice area. Not a speck of dust or bit of trash to be found. The mattress seemed a little older, but not anything terrible. The fireplace in the room was an added bonus.
