Cute hotel with good service, but rooms need serious upgrades The hotel itself has a charming vibe and the service was friendly and attentive throughout our stay. However, the rooms are in desperate need of an upgrade. The carpets were old and lifting in several places, and the bathroom fixtures—showers, tubs, and toilets—looked outdated and frankly a bit gross. A big downside: our friends found a large spider on their bed, which was really unsettling. If the hotel invests in some renovations and deep cleaning, it could be a much better experience. Until then, I’d be cautious about booking unless you’re prioritizing location and service over comfort.

I wanted to like this property but it is not nice. The rooms give “1995 Hampton Inn”. And for what they charge a night, it’s not worth it. I also had to leave unexpectedly a day early and they refused to refund me the one night, even with expedia assistance on the matter. Carmel is lovely and highly recommend but would avoid this hotel.

Nice small spot but big window that people walking by can look in the room that is small made us keep shades shutters closed took away of the nice view made the room hot no air moving was ok they had a fan in the closet but for the price just a ok spot nice person checked us in

We stay at this Hotel for our 20th anniversary, we booked the upstairs room for view and privacy. We arrived and heater didn’t work. Called for service and they were aware of the situation, and still didn’t offer to switch us rooms. I did asked to have us switch to a different one, which I have paid extra for room upstairs but we ended up t lower floor at corner of the building were we heard all guest arriving and rolling their suitcases. The area it’s beautiful, but I was not impressed with their service. Shower was clogged, we had to request for TP. Not impressed for the occasion and the price.
