Though this would be a nice hotel from the photos and location. Its really run down and dated, and construction happening all day every day we were there. The TV was so tiny, blurry, old, and literally on the other side of the room in the farthest point so we couldn't see anything and therefore couldn't use it. Paint peeling, bathroom dark yellow everything and so small you couldn't close the door while standing in front of the toilet. Was definitely tricked by the photos.

Cigarette smell with a view

We had a gorgeous view but the hotel is in poor condition. Our room smelled like cigarette smoke and it was really warm even with the window wide open as we slept. The only climate control was a ceiling fan and a plug in oscillating fan, this still just circulated warm air. Lastly the beds are advertised as two queens but they were for sure fulls. With that said we were close to plenty of amenities and had a great time. Still the warm room and cigarette smell almost made us try to find a different hotel but we had just switched from an overwhelming odor at the Olympia Lodge. The price and view were right so we stuck it out. They need to rip out the old carpet.

Hotel need renovation, bathroom is so small. Hard to close the door to the toilet, I am short but still tight. Can’t imagine how tall people seat on that toilet with the door so close.

The Inn has a great location and was reasonably priced but it’s horribly outdated. I can deal with decor from the 70’s but the mattress was the most uncomfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on. Springs poked into my ribs at every turn. There is also a bright light on the balcony just outside the window which lights up the room even with the drapes drawn.

I was completely disappointed - the pictures when I made my reservation are not like the actual exterior of the hotel and the room. And this property is in a great spot in Pacific Grove. Strick no early check in policy I asked for 2 extra towels and they wouldn't give me any unless I returned the 2 in the room Sink was small with little space to have toiletries The elevator was too small for 2 people and the luggage cart Plumbing is not reliable Overall the room just wasn't what we were expecting at all
