Large room, very nice bath. Some the furniture was worn but, the linens were clean and room tidy. Only down side is the location to the seals. They are a bit noisy but, it did not bother us.

Our stay was amazing and the staff was great! Dennis was specifically the one that helped us throughout our stay and he made us feel welcomed and comfortable! The location is amazing and the seals were sooo cute!!! It was an extra touch to an amazing weekend! My only suggestion is for the Hotel itself and that it needs some upgrades to building. For example, the doors to the balconies were old and we struggled to close. Also, there’s no A/C and our room kept getting hot so we used the “store bought” fan they kindly provided.

I chose Monterey Bay Inn because of the location on cannery row and the view. We had a private balcony that overlooked the harbor. The Aquarium is a 10-15 minute walk away as well as the shopping and restaurants. My only complaint - and it’s completely out of their hands - THE SEALS. All day, all night, they bark. They never stop! It was great to see them overtake the beach, not so much to try and sleep while they’re there. If you are a light sleeper or are unable to sleep with ear plugs I would advise you stay elsewhere while the seals are on the beach.

Bed was firm and comfortable. Sheets felt good to touch. Good amount of pillows with different firmness. Good supply of soft towels in spacious bathroom.Room service is good and prompt, continental breakfast got delivered within 1 minute of requested delivery time. Most parking is under the building and tight, some accessible from driveway side on outside of building including 2 handicap spots. I saw one charging station also. Full size extended cabin pickup trucks do not fit in spots under the building. There is good number of sea lions living on the beach on the inland side of the hotel and making noise. Light sleepers should ask for room on opposite side of the hotel. I recommend this hotel and I will return here on my next trip.

We loved this room and wished we could stay another night. The room had a balcony that overlooked the beach that was filled with sea lions. We loved watching them. They partied all night long, so we used our earbuds, but that was fine.

This was a nice hotel on Cannery Row. Parking was a little tight and cost $25 a day. The Sea Lions took over the beach next to it and they were pretty noisy. The hotel did hand out ear plugs for sleeping. They were fun to watch. Easy walk to restaurants and shops on Cannery Row. I would recommend this Inn.

The staff and service was great. The complimentary intercontinental breakfast was a good way to start the day. We also loved the hot tub on the 4th floor, it had an amazing view of the bay. We will definitely be coming back when we need a little break from the hustle and bustle of the city life!!

The front desk staff seemed to think they were entitled and doing me a favor to allow me to stay in this hotel. They were less than accommodating for an early check in. I arrived earlier than the scheduled check in at 4pm. I requested an early check in and they stated they would call. No call. I came back at 3:30 as I watched them check other guests in. They offered all the guest ear plugs but not me. You need ear plugs due to the seals. The bathrooms are out dated, hair in the tub, comforter on bed old and dirty. When I asked for water was told it’s in the room.. it wasn’t so I had to call down to get some. I would not stay at this hotel again. BTW no air conditioning. Not a big deal per the front desk. however you can’t have your slider open because of the seals noise so yes. big deal!
