Nice, clean quiet place to stay. Front desk was very nice and helpful especially with giving advice on things to do in the area. The manager was extremely helpful also. Will definitely be coming back.

Stayed here for one night, we had a very pleasant stay . Great rooms for a great price ! Great view and amenities as well! Quiet location during the week and close enough to everything we needed like gas, food, and the beach ! The only downside is they might be a little understaffed so sometimes it’s a little wait to check in or out but not too bad at all ! 4.5 out of 5 stars !! Would stay again for sure !

Room was very spacious, clean and very nicely decorated. Provided many amenities. Parking was a bit tight spaced but plenty of it. Staff were pleasant, organized and helpful. Will definitely stay here again. Location was so convenient and close to everything I wanted to see. Room temp and bedding was perfect for the weather. Room also had a lovely fireplace.

Reliable and thoughtful

Genuinely friendly soul working the front desk sets the tone here, moving into spacious rooms, fireplaces, and kinda artsy lighting fixtures/flourishes. Jedi level service on a budget(minus the weekends in tourist season when EVERYONE PRICE GOUGES on the Monterey Peninsula and deals blow away like the fierce Pacific Ocean winds..but I digress)no frills but it gets the important things right-comfortable beds, fireplaces and service with a heart. I visit the Peninsula regularly and Munras Inn has always done me right.

Be Aware

Room only looks nice and great location. Buttt WiFi never worked for us during our 2night stay. Beds were NOT queen they are full size and to make it worse they were extremely uncomfortable mattresses and pillows. Definitely lying to customers when booking. The fireplace was also not working properly it would turn on for a couple seconds then turn off, TV remote was trash as well very complicated to get it to work, and the worst part is PARKING is first come first serve we had to park on the street one night ! Overall one of the worst stays I’ve had in a while. Toilet had stains or was left dirty very nasty.

The Munras Inn is a nice motel with comfortable, stylish rooms set a bit out of the way in Monterey. We liked our stay but found some of the room upgrades to be a little odd. The main lighting is a set of led flood lights that were pretty harsh. The bathroom was clean but pretty dated. The cost is similar to nearby more deluxe properties, so it did not feel like a great bargain.

The room was better than expected. There was a noisy party in the hallway the second evening of our stay. It was a little far to walk to the convention center, but we did it a few times. Parking was limited and one evening I had to park on a side street.

Short but Sweet

Came for a business meeting, stayed for fun. This place is not in the center of the tourist area, which is what I wanted. The room was comfortable and the fireplace was an excellent addition. The property is small, so you are not searching for your room, it’s close to everything too. I will stay here again.
