The room was acceptable for the price, however the road noise was extreme. It made it difficult to fall asleep and woke me multiple times. Also, parking in their lot is an extra 10 dollars.

The room itself was really nice and modern. The digital locks were great, no physical key card needed. Check-in and check-out was extremely quick and easy. Great stay for the price compared to others in the area.

Did not have an easy time checking in. Instead of speaking to someone in-person at the front desk, there’s a video kiosk where I struggled to understand a remote worker through bad audio speakers and a lagging video connection. The kiosk wasn’t scanning my ID properly, had to wait for them to reboot the system. Then the door code to our room needed 10min before it would work. Room was clean enough but the check in process was long and annoying. We wouldn’t stay here again unless they got rid of the kiosk.

Karin, the front Desk clerk made our stay perfect. He was very kind and knowledgeable and made check-in a breeze. Any contact with him was met with a smile and an immediate positive result no matter what we asked of him. Upon check-out we left an Apple computer charger with cord and some toiletries in our room. Karin bagged them up and held them in a safe place for two days until we could get back by to retrieve them. I have been in the hospitality business for over 30 years and Karin was the type of employee you always hope to hire. Kudos to him for making our stay a superior experience. The hotel, although nothing spectacular, was very clean and provided the basic necessities along with a very well-stocked comm on area in the office for things such as coffee and tea. I will definitely stay here again and would recommend it highly for the traveler looking for an economical place to stay in the Monterey/Seaside area.

I paid just under $100 for this hotel and it felt like it was 300. The outside of the hotel looks a bit outdated, but it’s not a super tall building so you don’t really expected to be super fancy on the outside. But the inside was remodeled fairly recently and it is very nice. They have great amenities and the customer service was exceptional. We took a trip to Monterey to see the aquarium, it was a very reasonable distance away from everything else. This is a great hotel for the price. I recommend it for anybody.

The property was very convenient for our stopover near Big Sur. The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean. The supplies (towels, toothbrush, coffee pods etc) were available for us for use for self service 24/7. Perfect place for a one night stay
