Has been nicely updated. Clean, "newer" feel. Very convenient. Mins to Monterey/Carmel attractions. Parking a nightmare - a narrow maze between bldgs. May not find a space at night. Office closes at 10 pm. What hotel does that????? NO DAILY HOUSEKEEPING!

Very uncomfortable beds. My lady and I have back pain from this place. This room had a huge empty space where it looks like they took out the chair or other bed and leave a huge empty space. Why is there a huge room and such a small bed?? Queen size bed in a large room is just bad decision making for whoever runs this property. That should be a king bed and for Pete’s sake would it kill you guys to spend a few extra bucks to not have the cheapest spring mattress you can buy in the rooms?? The room quality is definitely bad for that reason. The service was average but yall need to think about the room being so bare bones that it looks like it’s mid remodel lol

Very good hotel. Exceptionally clean, comfortable and well maintained. My only concerns, and these are small, is that the coffee maker did not work, the card key access did not always work and this site is pretty close to the airport. Not a problem after 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. the next morning since there are no night flights.

A Hidden Gem - Pacific Inn
The room was well apointed and recently refreshed. Everything was in good working order. Frankly, the value was 50 to 100% more than the rental fee. Our stay was oe of the better values i have experienced in recent hotel/motel stays. Check-in was efficient and the young lady at the desk was personable and helpful.

There was no soundproofing. The people above us were very loud and sounded like they were smashing solid articles on their floor. This awakened us around 10-11 pm and continued for five hours, during which we could not possibly sleep. We called the front desk and a very kind woman came to our door and we explained it all. We told her we had no choice but to leave at around 4:30am. We had to drive several more hours to reach our next destination. We were totally exhausted and had to wait until 3:00pm to be able to check into our next destination about 120 miles away. We asked for a refund of our room charge and got no response. The desk clerk did call 911 for us but when the police arrived they had turned out the lights and did not open the door. This was a nightmare from hell!

Great, clean room. Beds were a little uncomfortable (hard) but ok. There are a lot of dining options and grocery stores in the area but this property is not within walking distance to the downtown. Would stay again.

Pacific Inn was adorable. The staff was so friendly, the room was clean and just what we needed. Parking was pretty tight as there aren't many spaces so we couldn't park next to our room which was kind of a bummer. But other than that, I would stay here again and again and again. It is quaint and quiet. It is pet friendly so our dog was able to stay with us. The room was spacious and the price was affordable.

We liked everything about this property. What is shown in the Expedia website with regards to the picture of each room, is exactly as we received it. The cleanliness of the entire facility, outside parking area, office, vending/ice machine area, and specifically our entire room, was all super clean and up to date. No burnt out lites, no cigarette butts on the parking area, no musky smelling rooms; it was a perfect place to spend the night. In fact, we have made this our go-to place for anytime we come to Monterey in the near future.
