The property was really cute. I love the fountains. The blankets were very minimal, making the bed feel less than amazing. But it was very clean. Parking was a little rough, when trying to leave and several cars were parked illegally and blocking cars in.

Beautiful room, parking outside the door, this re-modeled old school motel was a treat. Nice bed and great shower! The only thing missing for us, it would have been nice to have real coffee in the lobby, since we had to leave the premises for some to get the day started. A nice area to find on our stop going thru the area at the end of our vacation week.

I don't often write reviews, but this property was an outstanding value. My room looked like it was updated last week! Extremely clean, simple furniture but in excellent condition. Newer style bath and comfortable bed (not as firm as my bed at home but I slept very well). Not a place to lounge around the grounds, sip wine and watch the sunset, but if you are in Monterey to see the sights, then this place is perfect for 1,2 or 3 nights. Fantastic value!

Easy for a one night stay. Room was tiny but fairly quiet. No breakfast options provided. Parking was a bit tight. Had to reverse out. I prepaid for my room and the front desk made me pay a tax difference- in cash - before checking in. It was less than $1 but really tacky that they did that. I’ve never had that happen before, There were hairs in the sink and I had to clean funk off the shower head. Walkable to Whole Foods and a little shopping center. Short drive to Beach, cannery row, etc.

We liked the U-shaped one story property and the grounds were beautifully landscaped and maintained. The room was newly renovated and very clean. We were in a pick up truck and it was a little difficult backing out of the parking lot.
