The wharf and Cannery Row were very easy to get to as well as going over the hill to Carmel. The hotel is very conveniently located.

No Don’t!…

I never heard anywhere that as a disabled person you not be allowed to back into the parking spot! I was told this after 24 hours when I accidentally locked myself out and went to the office to get a new card. The office attendant (I am assuming he is the owner and he spoke with an Indian/pakistani accent) told me that I need 2 go & change the direction of my car in the parking designated parking spot, which is mind U much tight than the average disabled designated spots & is the only 1! When I asked if he is asking me, telling me or demanding from me to do that he answered: “You have to”… ! I told him that I am legally & legitimately parked in the spot and that it is easier for me to reload my car which is next day by 11am latest. He continued 2 tell me that tomorrow I can back it back up 1ce I start reloading my car. He started a long story about that in the past people sat in their cars… ??!! I told him that my car will stay as it is! Without a 2nd blink of time he said “Than don’t come back here again!”.. So I answered back, telling him; that he can not pay me enough 2 come back! The carpet was very dirty! The shower over tub was not operating properly so I was not able to direct all the force of the water to the shower head. When I checked in it was not enough for him to have the make - model and color of my car; he made me get back out- walk 2 my car & get the license plate number; despite my car is parked in the only disabled spot in their parking lot.

This place was in a wonderful location. It was very clean and the owner was very nice and very informative. The building itself is very old and a little run down but well taken care of. Overall, good experience

Very good shopping & dinners ROOM NEEDS A COFFEE MAKER, for the price we paid, no coffee , no continental breakfast, towels were very cheap & thin. Loud AC unit, had to unplug while sleeping.

Great location. It is an easy walk to Fishermans warf. There are many local restaurants and tap rooms within a short walk. Perfect for our stay for the PGA event in town.

I would not recommend this property. I was at a wedding and was going to check in after around 10:30pm. I received a voicemail that my reservation would be canceled even though I paid in advance. In the middle of a wedding they wanted my credit card information to leave the room card under the doormat. The man on the phone was incredibly rude. The room was also very old and in need of renovation. I would NOT recommend. We only stayed for 1 night and that was too much. There are other models on that street where I have received much better service with updated and clean rooms.

We liked the proprietors, good location for our purposes, felt safe, was clean. Has microwave and mini-fridge. Has smoking garden for smokers away from the rooms. A few improvements that would be good: odd smell in room - maybe the cleaning products? A little rust in tub, tiny industrial-style towels, cracked floor tiles, very low toilet not good for old people.

The carpeting in the room that I was given was full of stain and appeared very dirty/not washed in a long time. The manager acknowledged that it was an old carpet. I asked for a different room but was told that it was the only room available. I did not stay at this motel and cancelled my reservation through Expedia.
