I need a refund. Bathroom was not clean and smelled of urine. Floors were not clean. The ceiling above the shower was about to fall through. The rooms are not soundproof at all. The people above me were moving furniture, yelling and talking till 2 am. I called front desk twice and they said they told the people to stop but they didn't stop being loud. I can't believe I paid to stay at this hotel. I was in town for work and needed to be awake at 6 am. I didn't get any sleep and kept waking up to the loud noises all around me.

The shopping center was in walking distance. Breakfast. Was a take and go. Would run out ot items. Did not have have shampoo or shower solution in containers . The phone in the room didn't work. I had to go to the front desk once for soap another time for more towels.. the room was clean , The desk staff was polite.

Excellent staff! Convenient location close to shops & restaurants. I’ve stayed here twice and there always seems to be some strange people hanging around in the parking lot. I haven’t experienced any issues but it’s a little unsettling. Overall it’s a decent place to lay your head at the end of a fun day exploring Monterey.

Check In was super easy , the receptionist made sure our room was up to par before we stepped in. He also guided us to where we could park to be closest to our room! Excellent service. Very clean , Ac worked amazing. Very close to an outdoor mall , theater and downtown area!

No breakfast included but morning coffee at the lobby, the location is great, easy and plenty of parking spots. The bathroom looks veeery old, needs maintenance asap, but overall my stay was good, the pillows gave me neck pain but comfortable beds.

The rooms were smelly, floors were sticky, bathrooms was leaking the whole time. The pool was extremely dirty, very unpleasant stay.

There was visible dirt/dust on the floor and in corners. The grout around the shower was rusty and some spots missing. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash was not refilled so bring your own. No soap was provided for the bathroom. Staff was very nice. First room I was given still had dirty towels on the floor and chunks of drywall in the shower.

The property is close to the mall, gas station, places to eat which is nice. The room itself was okay. We arrived and the door to our room was open. We did not have to key in. Then when I tried to call front office the telephone was not working, wifi access was not available, lastly the iron provided in the room was also broken. We were there for a golf tournament event and needed to press our clothes before going, but was not able to since the iron was not working. We were disappointed given the price we paid for staying. Morning staff was great. Check in staff was okay.

Solo stay

Front desk was efficient and helpful. It's fine the room is old, but could have been cleaner. Mattress was lumpy and not comfortable. Bathroom lights were dim. overall ok experience. I booked for prior name recognition and solo travel safety, but I think any other motel on the strip may have been just as standard and cost a little less. Also, no elevator to 3rd floor. up only 2 short flights, but I have slight mobility issue so was unexpected. Location is good, right by freeway and shopping center.
