TV did not work in bedroom. After being serviced it worked for about 5 minutes after the maintenance guy left. The room does not have independent temp control. I like my room cool and it was a warm weekend and had no way to cool down room aside from slider open and it was not enough. Beds are very springy, pillows were very nice tho. Parking is tight but not ridiculous. It’s an old place that has been somewhat updated. It’s not bad but I will pay the little xtra for Hilton (I’ve stayed before )next time. Enclosed is a photo of our view of the bay which is better than nothing. There was nothing about the hotel that made me want to take any pictures good or bad.

Even though they were sold out, and had a little issue with parking due to street parking being prevented by construction activity, we ended up having a spot each night and it was nice. This property is not walkable to fisherman's wharf, but unless you can't walk very far. You could easily do downtown by foot. Is also a trader Joe's and some restaurants within walking distance. The pool and jacuzzi were nice and the staff was very helpful. It's not a snazzy place, but very adequate and I would definitely stay there again

Dated but clean

We only stayed a night, but the room was well kept. The room was dated, but clean and kept my fanily of 5 together in one room which we loved.

There isn't very good sound insulation so when other people are talking/moving around you can hear everything. The room was pretty small. The pool/hot tub were nice. Overall everything was okay, no major complaints.

Nice, clean room

Hot tub was great! The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and was plenty large enough. Bathroom was nice. It’s nice to have microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker in room for quick snacks. Seemed pretty quiet at night. Window slats looked nice, but let some light in room at night. That's just my preference as I like a dark room to sleep. Overall, I would recommend.

The area and room were safe. The furniture was rusty and damaged. The soap dispensers were dirty and old. Unfortunately we were placed in a room underneath a big family and it was very noisy.

Stargazer Inn was the perfect spot for us to enjoy the Monterey area and Big Sur. Really comfortable beds, clean rooms and thoughtful touches throughout. Would highly recommend to others looking for a spot to stay in Monterey!
