The room was clean and roomy. It was a nice convenient one story hotel. The grounds were pretty and staff friendly. The beds were just so uncomfortable no us but we can’t do firm beds. I also did not like that they charge for parking

I very much dislike the parking fee. This is not a high-rise hotel in a congested downtown area. The Inn at 1252 was my go-to hotel in Monterey, but this fee will make a difference when I search the area in the future. Disappointing.

We had an issue which was clarified by Expedia which was an error on their side not the hotel. I would stay here again in a heart beat. I would book the hotel directly instead of going thru Expedia so you do not have to pay for parking. 10 out of 10 for everything

The glass door to the bathroom was good quality just not a good idea. No privacy. I had to leave the room when my wife wanted to use the bathroom. Paying for parking is just a tax and they are able to show a lower price on the room. Also WE DID NOT APPRECIATE the text at 802 am to remind us that " Your departure is coming up at...." No sh.. let us sleep in and enjoy our vacation!!!!! We know when we have to leave.

Checking in clerk had a problem with her computer. I notice a double bill pending for a 1 night stay. I will follow up I am not charged twice. I thought tissue was no longer given will all the cut backs in cleaning every 3rd day now but when I got fresh towels from one of the girls I saw a box and asked for it. Upset that parking is now charged. Should be informed online prior to booking. Everyone hates surprise fees

Okay no frills, clean and affordable place to stay one night for a golf trip. Convenient lication, good shower, comfortable bed. Got great price, so worth it. Did charge $10 for parking, which is new.

The hotel was clean and nice, however, I do have a few sticking points that will keep me from rating it higher. The wifi barely reached my room, and wouldn't allow any of my devices to stay attached to it for more than a few seconds. This wouldn't be super bothersome, except there was very poor phone signal (AT&T) on the property too. Additionally, the blackout shade doesn't cover the entirety of the window, which meant that anyone on the outside could have seen in my room which was unnerving, especially at night. Additionally, the shower in my room wouldn't shut off, and just kept slowly running all night.

The parking fee wasnt mentioned in the resevation. The parking spots are too small to let you open your doors. The rooms are to small to accommidate a queen bed. Overall its like a Motel 6 with a fancy name.

The staff and property are taken care of. Clean, the room is simple. I would stay here again. But it wouldn’t be too choice. The walls are thin and I could hear everything. Not the property's fault. Location is super convenient near the shopping center and downtown.
