The staff were pleasant but the room needs a little bit of attention and maintenance. The air conditioning has about a quarter inch thick of dust that's never been cleaned out which should be done every 6 months. The toilet roll holder was ready to fall off the wall. It'd be nice to get some conditioner. I usually bring my own but this time you forgot. The shampoo is supposed to have conditioner in it but it was terrible as both it would suffice for just shampoo only.

Everything was good, but we were on the third floor and heard people walking about a lot, some talking, but mostly the movement. We were in 309 and I’ll request a room not so in the middle next time.

The pictures on Expedia are misleading. 2 Queen bed room does not have any sea view. I booked this hotel mainly because of the view and was so disappointed on seeing my room did not have any outside view. Parking is also not free

Room is very spacious. Very nice bedding and furniture. 58-63" Smart TV. Extremely clean. ocean view. AC/Heater noise is very low. Generous water bottle and lots of snacks. Well-appointed under garage parking space. Walking to all shops and restaurants.

Location was good and there’s a parking (for additional payment), but overall terrible. The smell in the room was so bad, and even after opening the window it didn’t help. Our shower was leaking, and overall room didn’t feel clean. Safe didn’t work as well. The front desk staff was nice and the only benefit was the view of a beautiful street. But honestly it’s better to pay a little bit extra for comfort and stay somewhere else.

Great location - easy to walk to restaurants and shops. Room was clean and staff were friendly. The only thing I would say is that the shower door needs to be adjusted or needs a gasket because after a shower the floor outside was soaked.

This property is by far one of our favorites when staying monterey. It is close to the aquarium, walking distance and also to Cannery Row. Parking was easy and in property which we like. The rooms are comfortable and the area is quiet.
