Not as good as it used to be.

They used to have mini fridge in the rooms but took them out. The picture online still has them so we planned based on that. Also, the food is really expensive and not that great. No one really enjoyed the food that much. It is still half an hour from the center of Monterico so it’s a long drive if you want to go there or find other places to eat.

This hotel is very hard to find even with the obscure street signs. The entrance was very sketchy. Although the hotel was clean, the amenities were very outdated and worn out such as cracked tiles, leaky faucets, and rust around the shower area. The pool area closes really early around 9:50pm, they were already telling us we had to leave because they wanted to bleach the pool. That definitely could’ve been done around midnight without any problem not 9:50pm when we were enjoying the evening with family. Even though we brought our own snacks, water and treats, they told us three times that we were not allowed to eat around the pool area, which I found very weird. I most likely will not come back to this hotel unless it’s my only option.

This is one of the best experiences I've ever had. Staff were great and the hospitality was the best. Everyone were happy offering the best service. I will recommend this place to everyone I know. Special thanks to Otto and Eddie and the cheif you guys made my trip the best.

People in the restaurant and maintenance were very pleasant and helpful, but the front desk very dry didn’t offered to help with the bags, didn’t explain the amenities of the place. We had to carry our bags to the second floor with no elevators, we had to figured it out by ourselves.

El hotel cayman esta frente al mar. El hotel esta viejo pero muy bien mantenido. El dormitorio estaba muy amplio y comodo. La picina estaba limpia y con vista al mar. No recomiendo meterse al mar ya que es muy peligroso. El menu de la comida tiene mucha variedad y es muy rica. Gracias a roberto por su tremenda atencion en el restaurante, los cocos y la bebidas. Volveremos !

The property and room was decent. The food and drinks were good. The air conditioning worked great but we did not have control of it and in the night it got very cold. Getting there was a challenge due to minimal street signs and the entrance is on a dirt road. At night there is very few street lights.

Wonderful pool and amazing ocean views!

My family had a great time here, and the room was very comfortable with excellent cleaning service. It's perfect if you are ready to completely relax. Restaurant was nice with good service. Internet was not reliable, so not a good spot for bringing work, and the TV was not available much of the time due to internet outages. Also, not much within walking distance if you do not have a car. But fantastic for tuning out and having fun in the water!

This property is well maintained and seems to be one of the nicest in the area. The rooms are basic (basic bedding and towels) but clean and a pretty good size. The food at the restaurant was ok. Breakfast was good and dinner was fine. The service was great and the drinks were tasty - daiquiris and pinicoladas made with fresh fruit! It's right on the beach with beautiful views.
