Stay away
The owner gave away our two rooms. The same thing happened to my friend Anna from Austarlia Luckily I met a hotel owner from a different place who was kind enough to help us. This is a horrible place.

No room available despite having a paid booking.
When I arrived at this hotel I was informed my booking was apparently cancelled and there was nothing they could do. After much 'discussion' they finally agreed to start making phone calls to find me an alternative place to sleep for the night but it took some time. Due to Monteverde being so busy over the Christmas/ New Years week accommodation was limited and I ended up in a backpackers hostel in town which was even more run down than Hotel Roca Verde. They managed to keep a room for me on my second night however the place was noisy due to dogs, roosters and traffic noise. Internet did not work in my room and there was no towels available. Would not recommend here.

L'eta lissemenr est situe tres proche de la pizte. Beaucoup de poussiere et de cir ulation. Troo loin du centre de Monterverde. Les petits dejeunerz etaient bons et copieux. Le perdonnel tres bien. Accueuillant et a l'ecoute. Seul pdtit hic...la tevision le dernier matin.

Would consider coming back
First of all, the lovely owner is very helpfull and serviceminded. If it where not for the broken mattress, we would have been very satisfied with this booking. But, for the price we payed (brekfast included) we see no reason to complain. If just for sleeps and brekky, I would consider staying here again. Worth mentioning that they even started breakfast earlier for us to accomodate for our early departure in the morning.
