Mary at the front desk was wonderful. Suggested several restaurants and area items. Hotel restaurant was pretty small, very limited items, but what was there was good. Room appeared clean but smelled like a wet dog. Hotel location was great for a stop on the way to Florida.

Areas that need attention

When we first entered our room the room was open. We looked around and no one was there. On the counter was a dirty wash cloth. The bathroom had only 1 clean towel and no wash cloths. I went downstairs and told the front desk clerk. She said housekeeping must had forgotten to close it. We when out to eat came back to settle in the night. When I went to brush my teeth I noticed the mirror was dirty and the counter had soap rings on it. No shampoo and the conditioner had been used. Worst thing ever…. No coffee maker in the room. You had to go downstairs to get it. For me that is a done deal. I need my coffee when I wake up and I have never been to a place that does not have a coffee maker. Had I read the amenities I would saw that they didn’t have one.
