Evacuated here during Hurricane Milton
My son and I evacuated from Florida to this hotel during Hurricane Milton. It was the first affordable hotel that allowed pets that was north of where we live. We arrived 2 hrs before check in and they were able to get us into our room within 15 mins. The hotel itself seems pretty old and dingy. There was a weird smell that made my throat close up and made me cough. It was a terrible smell. The room was okay. Very spacious, but smelled musty. There was one elevator and it took a long time to open/close the door (taking the stairs was much faster). Maid service personnel were friendly. The hotel accommodated for pets, but wasn’t very pet friendly. There’s a continental breakfast with your basic food (bagels, toast, yogurt, waffles) and the people who were refilling everything never wore gloves when handling the food. Gross. There was an “exercise room” which made me happy to see but when I walked in, it was being used as a storage room :/. Outside the hotel there were constantly people smoking weed (not sure if they worked there or the hotel next door). Overall for what we needed it for, it was fine. I was thankful I found a place for my son, dog and I to evacuate to during the storm. For a regular trip I would not stay here.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was nice except the water in the bathroom never got hot, barely got luke warm, and the faucet needs a new screen. It spit water all over when used. The toilet paper holder was not properly mounted on wall so when you pull on the paper, the roll falls to floor. The breakfast wasneeding help, had one waffle maker, bananas/apples, two types of cereal, coffee, orange/apple juice. 4 tables where food was. No eggs, sausage or bacon, or any other condiments.

Horrifying stay
Property was not kept up at all. There were several light switches in our room that didn't go to anything, a stove that didn't work, a refrigerator that has a water dispenser and an ice maker that were not hooked up to anything, cigarette burns in everything, paint over spray on the dresser, and hand prints on the bed headboard. Parts of the ceiling also looked like it was going to fall in. If I hadn't already gotten a discount on the room, I'd demand for my money back....I might do that anyway.

We stopped for a night on a long drive to go say goodbye to a sick family member. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, the room was clean, and the inside garden was so beautiful and calming after a hectic day of traveling. The AC was nice and cold, the room was spacious, and my husband and I both loved how comfortable the bed was! We enjoyed a freshly made waffle in the morning and enjoyed a nice, hot shower before we left. We wish had visited under happier circumstances and could’ve had the time to enjoy coffee in the lovely sitting areas in the garden, but we are definitely hoping the timing works out on drive home to stay there again. This will absolutely be the place for us anytime we’re near Montgomery.

The TV did not work in the room. This is my 3rd time staying at this hotel in the past 3 months and each room I stayed had a TV that did work. I called the front desk this last time and the worker could not get it to work.

Good place to stay for a game in Auburn.
Stayed here for the OU vs. Auburn game. The room was large, actually the size of two rooms with a separate living room area, like a suite. Very nice! The bathroom was broken up into two rooms with the toilet and shower separated by a door. The breakfast provided hit the spot. I would definitely stay here again!

Living in the forest.
I do not recommend this place for any handicap or elderly person. It seems to be a Forest within a building. The floors has no carpet and bathrooms were not suitable for an elderly person. I tried calling to cancel the and was told I could not. I will not use this hotel or your company either. The location was not what I saw on the website.

The bathroom was so dirty, the door for the bathroom was missing screws and the wood was coming apart, my daughter got stuck in the bathroom, couldn't get door opened, tried to call front desk and room phone did not work. There were holes that looked like the patch was wet toilet paper wads, I have pictures of all of it. The lobby was nice though
