Location was great. Pictures posted are not to what it looks like. Air conditioner no control over it. Rooms were damp and not cool. Bathtub was stained and rusted.

The rooms entertainment unit that the tv stands on had a door ripped off, the landline phone had no cord (was it for display), the tv wasn’t plugged in, neither was the fridge, the fridge didn’t work when it was plugged in, one of the two beds mattresses was in very poor condition and when I asked reception for extra pillows and towels, their response was “for what” definitely not worth what I paid but now what Hotel Chrome is like.

The hotel itself is pretty run down. Paid parking ($28/night) was underground but the access to the hotel was a narrow stairway. It was extremely tricky getting luggage upstairs. The shower faucet ran, not dripped, hot water all night. We had to shut the door and then the bathroom was a sauna.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Pros: The hotel was convenient, reasonably priced and clean. There is a bus stop right outside, which is very convenient and the location itself couldnt really be better. The room was spacious and clean Cons: There was no coffee maker in the room and the coffee in the lobby tasted like weak burnt popcorn. I went to grab coffee/breakfast and the side streets and St Catherine's St were under construction constantly, stank of sewer and garbage and were a bit sketchy to be by yourself if you dont have street smarts. There was a couple of bugs in the room. The restaurant which is advertised in the hotel was closed for renovations but noone was doing any work on it the whole time we were there. Overall: 3/5

Only exit is via elevator stairs only for emergency Paid extra for what is a executive suite On the plus side ice machine is nearby close enough to hear which brings up cooling sensation of ice. I’ll know better next time to trust reviews

Hôtel looked nice from lobby view but the room was rundown. Wall paper peeling, bathroom paint peeling. The bed sunk in and the pullout couch has a broken leg so it wobbled and the corner of the bed part had no springs and was ripped so my daughter kept falling in the hole
