I was a bit nervous after reading a bunch of reviews. But it turns out it was completely unnecessary to be worried. The room was clean and cozy. It was great, especially for the price!

Room 206 is the worst on this entire floor of King size bed room. The room's carpet has another cheap carpet used over it to hide some big salt deterioration/corrosion. The door (furniture) that use to hide the small fridge is gone, and so we hear more noise coming from the fridge. The pillows are different and uncomfortable. Some kind of cheap space foam material that don't pile well together and does'nt provide enough support when using a single one. No "do not disturb" card in the room to signal the maintenance to NOT come and disturb during the day. And other available room on the same floor (that are better and yet, they gave me room 206 after all this time i go there). That is disapointing. Oh, and it's very difficult to arrive onsite with luggage and car, because of construction in the street, it's hard to park/drop luggage because the reserved area is temporarily unavailable/is blocked by contructions. And, starting around 7AM on the week day, we have hammers and construcions and trucks waking up the entire street. So no. i would not give 5 star, not anymore.

For the location and price, can't complain. Felt safe enough, clean enough, and it's just outside the core downtown. But the place could use some TLC in its physical condition. Also, stayed there 3 nights, and I don't believe staff came to tidy once. I was fine with it, as I'm not messy anyway and I leave a light footprint. Plus, it means you can save on the housekeeping tip. But FYI, if you like the daily housekeeping, you might want to look elsewhere.

I don't understand all the negative reviews. you get what you pay for. sure this place has many cosmetic issues, but who cares as long as the room is clean and the bed is comfy that's all that matters, but definitely not a place you take a girl if you want to impress, but staff was really friendly and helpful

Good - very large room and good price. Not good - hotel was quite run down and the bed was soft and saggy. Windows and curtains seemed quite dirty and there was a musty odor.

A Disappointment. We had 2 rooms for 4 days. There were no housekeeping services during our stay. Lack of amenities (no coffee maker in 1 of the rooms & restaurant closed) The mouse trap in the dresser was disturbing, the bedside lamp was broken, the outlets didn't work & there was rust & corrosion in tub. We visit annually and won't stay there again
