The Hotel Cantlii is in a great location on the edge of downtown Montreal. Transit is right outside front door, grocery store not too far away. The room had a mini kitchen with fridge, microwave, coffee pot, Nespresso machine and small amount of dishes, cutlery, glasses and mugs. The rate was very good compared to others in the area.

We stayed in a suite with a kitchenette. There was a fan for the kitchen stove, but no switch (that we could find) to turn it on. We made breakfast in the mornings and set off the fire alarm consistently (insert cooking joke here). There was also no fan for the bathroom which means very steaming showers and "odours" wafting throughout the room

They were exceptionally accommodating with our early arrival. Staff is extremely helpful and polite. I would book with them again. Hot water took a little while to get going but that’s what happens in older buildings. I have nothing but good things say about Hotel Le Cantlie Suites.

Check in was organized and quick. Valet parking was seamless. We were pleasantly surprised our room was a one bedroom apartment. While it was a littled dated, it was very clean. The bed was comfortable, the pillows left a little to be desired. The hotel is in a great location, near Crescent St for dining and less than a 15 minute walk to arena. Would definitely return there.
