We had a nice three night stay. The Murphy bed was a pleasant surprise and comfortable. Breakfast though a bit cramped was very efficient. Pastries were abundant and very fresh. Easy walk to historic district. Great restaurants nearby. We were very pleased and will stay again if in Montreal.

This as a good hotel for the price. One thing I didn’t like was when I chose the room on Expedia, it had a couch. The room we got did not have a couch.

Very helpful friendly staff at front desk for check-in. Full of information and even walked me to my room! Room is clean and roomy with lots of closet and dresser space. Very happy with the location. Easy walk to the river from and old Montreal.

Great location

This hotel is in a great location, at the western edge of the gay village and the eastern edge of the arts district. The other advantage is the underground parking.

Great breakfast, great staff, and great location BUT the property is very dated. Half the stovetop didn’t work, the toilets use a huge amount of water (not the low flow toilets). We arrived to find the bathroom without hand soap (the dispenser was completely empty) and the sofa bed without sheets. For the price I expected much better.

Check in was torturous. The clerk seemed baffled. Parking was terrifying - narrow, steep incline which served as both entrance and exit. Tiny parking area. Then we had to walk up 2 flights of stairs to get to steet level only to have to walk another block or so to the hotel. Room was ok. The little balcony was nice. We didn't know we had to ask for housekeeping so our room was not made up. The breakfast was minimalistic. Our 1st morning the breakfast room was packed with people so we were taking our trays back to our room. A staff member stopped us saying we couldn't leave with the trays. She had to confer with another staff member who scanned the room to verify that there were no available seats. Also, there's no safe in the room. There was a note on the card with our key that the front desk had a safe. When we brought down our passports, the clerk was baffled - there was no safe (probably an American problem.) The location was good. Metro is a block from the hotel. We tried to call the hotel before we discovered the Metro to ask which station was closest. We were on hold for about 2 minutes. It was a reasonable price with ok accommodations. I think next time I'd stay somewhere else.
