All around the hotel is in construction, after 1 hrs we decide to call the hotel, how to get there, you need to pass in one way to get there. No parking,! The staff was practically laughing at us after we arrived, they charge us 96$ for two night parking. Nice room, we book 2 night , 2 rooms. But i was very disappointed

The hotel was very nice and it was our first time staying here. There was so much construction in the area around the hotel that it was very difficult to find the valet parking. The location is excellent, right in the centre of Old Port, but more signs or directions provided ahead of time would have been helpful

Exceptional attention to client. Heated bathroom floors and very hot coffee. The restaurant in the hotel “Mama C” was magnific. Among the best in the city.

there is significant renovation occurring at the hotel and major construction happening right outsider their front door. This was never disclosed to me when I made the reservation on Expedia.

Room was very nice and facilities more than adequate. Not sure if they had a gym but wasn’t looking for one this trip. Lovely section of town-old Montreal. A little inconvenient because of ongoing street construction

Charming but dated
So most of these issues are maybe out of the control of the hotel but should be considered from any guests. I am quite disappointed with this one. $400 a night room and a plethora of issues. First, construction... Right infront of the hotel, at 6AM. YES! 6AM. And this place has no soundproofing, like you can hear the construction ppl talking. Second, there is a disco or cloud or something really close to the hotel. So naturally without soundproofing, you hear the beats right up to 2-3AM. Quick math, 3 hours of sleep. Not to the hotel itself. It's charming there's not doubt. The bricks and stone walls are great and inspire thoughts of the history this building has endured. The downside is that this place is dated. The decor if the rooms would not be out of place in a hotel 20 years ago. The furniture has also seen some better days. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

It's in a beautiful section of Montreal with plenty of small shops and restaurants in walking distance. The whole area is VERY pedestrian friendly. The property is very nice with an excellent restaurant. The staff was the best. They were very courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful.
