We asked to clean the room and never did. Also the location of the room was right in from of the reception so we could hear voices all night long, asked to have a different room and never happened either.

It was very apparently recently renovated, and everything was clean. The elevator was a little scary, but other than that no real issues. The area around it is good, quite a decent night life just down the street but didn't penetrate the hotel itself. Staff was a little stand-offish but not in an offensive way, just efficient I suppose.

The rooms were too small and the bathrooms were so small you can barely shut the door. The beds were too big for the room and it was crammed. The bath towels were the size of hand towels and there wasnt any room service cleaning so they did not bring us fresh towels or extra soap, shampoo conditioner or even come to make the bed all 3 nights. There was a lady screaming on the phone all night in the alley we could barely sleep. They didn’t give any bottles of water in the room, nor did they give soap to wash your hands. The coffee machine downstairs didn’t even have cream and the coffee keurig machine water area wasn’t clean. Tea was almost non existent. The hotel still needs a lot of work and the photos look better than the actual hotel. The good thing is, the rooms were pretty clean (no bed bugs and bedding was ok) and the showers ran hot water (thank god!). It’s a good place to stay if you need a cheap 1 night but not good for multiple nights. I wouldn’t come back.

Enjoyed my stay had problem with my card since had it on debit but transferred it to my credit card for deposit and were great help people at desk were nice and helpful and friendly i liked that the room had fridge microwave and even a toaster plus the shower was great and enjoyed all the settings after long tiring day plus bed was comfy

Really good value for money. It's location is its biggest advantage. I guess the rooms where renovated and look good overall but there was a element that can be improved like bathroom where the shower was slow and took time esp. the hot one as it was not good as the cold one. Overall, it's really good value for money and I cannot deny, we really loved the location and the room qualify for that price range. I would really consider this hotel again if we are going to visit Montreal Again.

Every night we come back to the hotel our card (we stayed for three nights) didn’t work (there is a sign on the door at the main entrance that reads: “use your card to open the door”. The card doesn’t work and the receptionist comes out to let us in then he “renews” the card!! We paid for three nights on booking. This is a terrible hotel with terrible services. I have NEVER stayed in such a hotel in my entire life. Please please avoid this hotel even if you are offered free stay

It seems this property is fairly new or just finished renovations but not fully done. Our fridge did not work but there was no ice machine more instructions about the tv would be appreciate. Also no blankets

We used this for 1 night stay while on layover. We stayed here for less than 12 hours. The place was easy to find, we used the public transit to get here from YUL. Not too bad. There were police cars outside the Metro station which is 4 mins walk to the hotel. The street is pretty dark, but I didnt feel unsafe. Its near Scotiabank, Shoppers drugmart, Dollarstore and other amenities. The hotel door was locked at 9pm, so we had to ring the bell. Checkin was quick and easy. We stayed in room 217. Bed was pretty comfy. The lobby was newly renovated, painted. The elevator was squeky and loud. The room was newly painted. There a full iron board which there is no space to use it because the room is small. There's Iron, hair dryer, tv. The bathroom was small too, I can't close the door. Hot shower pressure was low. There was no bin in the washroom since it's too small. The closet won't open all the way since it hits the bed. It's good for a layover. For $80 it's OK. It would be nice to have a double chain lock on the door. I woke up around 3am after hearing someone used the toilet from another room - it was loud. I slept for 4 hours straight, so it's kinda OK. There was an insect we found crawling on the wall when we were leaving. It could be better. The hotel is in an old building so I understand the limitations on space. The outside is pretty dark, we walked around from 930-11pm, we didnt feel unsafe, it was OK.
