ZERO1 is at a great location clove to Complex DesJardins with many shops and dining options and the IGA Supermarket (very convenient) and the hotel is well kept. If you get the rate with breakfast you can enjoy a self-service good breakfast at the restaurant directly accessible from inside the hotel. My only observation is that the internet was kind of choppy during my stay and the temperature control is not local to your room. You have to call Front Desk so they change your temperature settings remotely which the temperature variation during Fall was a bit frustrating. Other than that, overall I had a good experience.

Nice hotel

Great location, nice rooms, friendly staff. The only downside is the parking situation, two options, use their valet (40 bucks tax incl) or you park it in a spot about 900m for 25 bucks plus taxes.

Rooms were clean and comfortable with microwave, sink, mini fridge and coffee maker but no utensils. Rooms and hallways need more lighting. Booked room with breakfast and it was simple but nice, staff was very friendly. Parking is awful throughout Montréal definitely not car friendly, we had a truck and hotel valet could only accommodate cars so we had to park at a parking lot about 1 block away. Location was walking distance to China Town, shopping and dining choices. We saw reviews prior and yes we did see a tiny field mouse in the enclosed patio terrace, we did not sit or go in that area, we didn’t see anything anywhere else so I’m assuming it’s an area exposed to the outdoor elements, aside from that and the parking dilemma the hotel and rooms were clean and we slept comfortably. Definitely book a different hotel that includes parking if your trip includes a car rental.

Overall a great location for walking distance to everything we wanted to see/experience.. however.. Staff were not accommodating for simple requests/questions, whether checking in or asking about recommendations in the area they were always bothered by your presence, room service never left towels so when asking for towels it was always a chore (requested room service twice during a week long stay and happened both times). Payed extra for a room upgrade and were placed under an adjacent room under construction, while our room had multiple issues (broken sink drain, fridge not working, mattress with springs breaking through). Some friendly service would have went a long way..

Vraiment déçue Ce n'est pas un 5 étoiles, mais sa localisation est la seule chose qui fait que j'y loge... Un personnel par accueillant du tout et non respectueux du tout. Mérite un Zéro comme son nom...
