It was fine. Quiet and relatively clean. Housekeeping could use some retraining- my bathroom had garbage on the floor upon starting my stay, and my bed was forgotten on sheet change day both for new sheets and for making my bed in general. I was provided an apology and some points on my Hyatt account equal to a couple dollars. Guest services seemed kind. Restaurant makes a good burger but do not recommend their cocktails.

Nice stay once we found the hotel

We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is close to the port in the old city and in walking distance to many places to visit and dine. Staff all spoke English - very welcoming to American visitors. We only have two negative comments, one small and one large. The small one is that there should be more hooks in the bathroom for clothes , towels, etc. The large complaint is that it was very difficult to find the entrance! There's no indication that one has to drive up a ramp to reach rue Notre Dame and the entrance. The GPS brought up to the area, but we drove around several times before we saw the sign for the garage.

We just did three days between Ottawa, Montreal & Old Quebec City. The Hyatt Centric was by far the nicest property we stayed in. Easy access from a driving standpoint. Being at the east end of the Old Port made for a quieter stay which was great for us. The east end of the Old Port is still developing so a walk back into the established areas is needed to get to restaurants and bars. It is a great stroll so not an inconvenience at all.
