The hotel is very convenient in terms of location. It is within a 5 minute walk to the main station and also a metro station. It is about a 20 minute walk to the old town/port - it is a lovely walk in terms of architecture, shops and restaurants on the way. Our room was spacious and clean.

We had a wonderful stay at Le Square Phillips- the hotel was very clean, our room was clean and made up daily and it was in a great central location for walking or using the Metro. Of note, there is $35 per night parking fee for valet and I do believe this is the only parkimg available. It was definitely worth it as parking is very limited across the city. Overall, it was an amazing experience!

This was our home away from home! We could easily walk to the waterfront and museums and great restaurants too!! Bonus is we even got upgraded to a huge suite with two bathrooms! Breakfast was fantastic and the Montréal bagels, too!

Great location

I went on a 4-night solo long weekend. I had a hard time deciding where I wanted to stay. I chose this hotel because it was a 15-20 minute walk to Old Montreal and the port area. I looked at several hotels in that area and in reviews everyone seemed to mention noisy streets. I like quiet hotels. I requested a quiet room and thy put me on the top (10th floor) not on the main street side. The room and bed were comfortable and shower excellent. Breakfast was included. It was nothing fancy, and a bit crowded with families in the morning. Do not expect egg choices and pancakes. But that was fine. Also, there are many nice places to walk in the downtown area, like the Museum of Fine Arts. I enjoyed all the different neighborhoods I visited in Montreal--and I walked and used the Metro to get everywhere. It's worth looking at getting a 24 hour (or longer) Metro pass worked really well. Get yourself a guide and you will enjoy this beautiful city. Oh and staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was great, had a fridge, oven, and counter space if you feel like picking up some groceries from the local IGA. It's in the heart of downtown with St. Catherine's street within walking distance. Lots of dining options around. Old port is not too far of a walk either. The gym was good for a hotel. Had dumbbells up to 50 lbs, 2 cable stations, treadmills, ellipticals, bikes too. Good enough for maintenance workouts while on vacation. Pool was good, with an outdoor deck area to tan as well. Breakfast each morning was great with an assortment of bread, fruits, yogurt, ham, turkey and cheese. No need to have to go out to find places to dine if you do not want to. Each day the room was done up, towels replaced. Friendly staff. Highly recommend, I would stay here again!
