This hotel is kind of a mess. From check-in, to departure was just awful. They have very limited staff so the rooms were not ready for anyone until 4pm. The rooms were dirty, black mold in the shower, and just an overall very run down hotel. You get what you pay for I guess.

Hard to find at night as sign is not illuminated. Place was clean and adequate for a night. We didn’t mind that the sole receptionist was on the phone dealing with a problem for nearly ten minutes while we waited to check in. We did mind that she did not apologize for the delay.

Sewage back up? Didn’t care.
The lobby is a facade. The building is tired and run down. There was rotting meat in the fridge. I flushed the toilet before going into the shower and sewage backed up to not the shower. The front desk told me I’d have to wait until morning to have it dealt with. Expected me to sleep in a room next to raw sewage and not have access to a shower. I asked to check out. They told me I’d have to wait until after the weekend to proceed the refund. When I asked if they could store my bags until I found a new hotel they showed me a room next to the front desk. It had a stench of rotten milk and was filthy. (See picture). I have yet to receive the refund.

It is about 20 feet from a homeless occupied area. The shower was moldy, the tv remote was broken, and there was no safe in the room. I asked for a "do not disturb" sign for the door and nobody could give me one. I prefer "not to have anyone come into my room". Privacy is important to me and every morning I asked the housekeeping person "not to come in, I had everything I needed" and in 2 occasions they came into my room while I was out. It was not the 3 star rating listed.

The pictures make the rooms looks nicer than they appear. I was placed in a room where the safety bar in the door was old and not the best but also there was people blasting music with a loud base. I let it go the first night but the second night I called the front desk to deal with it. It eventually got dealt with but wasn’t immediate.they were also very quick to say they couldn’t move me because the hotel was full but I didn’t ask. I needed a place to stay and didn’t read the reviews and I regretted it as it was not a comfortable sleep. As well the furniture in the hotel room was older and not taken care of so the chair had rips all through it and the beds creaked.
