There were problems with the room. Smelled bad. Clock didn't work. Coffee maker cord did not reach any plug, too short. Dust on cabinet that held the TV, fridge and microwave. Elevator down button was broken on my floor. Coffee vending machine in lobby was broken. Restaurant closed after breakfast. Could not even get a snack. Floor of shower stall was slippery and dangerous. Had to ask for a rubber mat. Overall it was a stressful experience. Will not stay there again.

Perfect place to stay when it comes to budget concerns. Also, the hotel is located in midtown and just few minutes walk to tube station and bus stand just outside makes it even convenient. overall, budget friendly, clean and conveniently located in midtown montreal.

1. First assigned a room not accessible by elevator, must use stairs. My wife and i are seniors with mobility issues. We return to reception and eventually got a better room. 2. Elevators work, but extremely slow. 3. The sauna was out of service 4. Pool water was so bad could not see my feet , hope we don't catch an infection, when i spoke to reception they said they knew and were draining pool soon. If you know water is bad why let people use it. 5. Tv remote only partially working. Ramada good name is tarnished by this location

The Ramada Plaza was a good hotel for the price we paid. It's a budget hotel. The swimming pool was too dirty. The breakfast was OK. What we like of the hotel was the location. Walkable distance to metro station to go to downtown and Little Italy neighbourhood for its restaurants. Room good, space was good but remember this is budget hotel, so nothing extraordinary. In general, we like it.

I travel to Montreal often to visit family and friends. This is the first time I feel compelled to leave a review. For the first time i feel roped off: the room was too small, the bed was not queen as advertised but rather double. The room was so tiny there was no space to fit night tables! It was clean, but very uncomfortable and expensive. Parking off course was not included and was charged 15 bucks without prior notice. It is far from downtown but they charged as if in a prime location. Don’t get fooled- avoid at all costs!

The room did what it needed too. However when we checked in- there was dried urine on the toilet seat. The shower door also leaked when we showered so the floor got all wet. The hot water tap was also messed up and air would shoot out of the tap when it was on.
