The room was dirty.Bugs in room. Shabby furniture. Closet door didn't work. Lighting and vent fan in bathroom didn't work. Bathroom smelled of mildew. We had to unscrew 4 of the 10 lights over the sink because of the high-wattage bulbs used. The curtains were torn in places. The "continental breakfast", with the worst coffee with only powdered creamer, left us wondering '"what continent are they referring to?" Exterior was nothing like the pictures on Expedia. Those pics look like they were taken 25 years ago!

Our first room had dried blood and wet blood in the shower. A ton of dead bugs on the window sill. We got in very late and I wasn’t going to make the kids stay up, so we slept there one night and I contacted staff for a new room in the morning. The new room was much better, and more quiet. The first room was unacceptable. Hopefully I will get a partial refund. I did submit pictures. The staff on site were great.

Room was ok No one to check me in Had to fill out check in info twice Gave me a room someone else was using Returned to lobby and again no one there The common area to the room was torn up This is more like a flop house they had paper signs on the doors renting by the week If you need a place when you’re down except no kitchen wouldn’t be a horrible choice

This place has gone down hill, so nasty. We did not end up staying as we could not be comfortable is a room like that. Went to get our money back, no one at the desk to help us.

If you want a cheap room this is the place. Bed comfortable and checkin clerk friendly. But WiFi didn’t work, tv sound cut out, dresser mirror fallen on floor, front of drawer off, tile off in bathroom, phone blinking with message that can’t be retrieved, no batteries in tv remote, smoke alarm on ceiling has no cover nor battery, toilet phantom flushes, no hot water when all the permanent residents get home from work, choice of breakfast items off a short list - prepared in the closet by desk clerk “to go” (she toasted a bagel served with 1 butter & 1 grape jelly packet - plus a nutrigrain bar), coffee grounds still in pot from previous guests.

It's fine for what it was. The price was fair enough. It had a fridge, was close to town. The room smelled like smoke, and the floor was warped. It is obviously an old hotel. The water pressure was good in the shower, toilet ran constantly. I probably wouldn't book it again, but it serves the purpose if you just need a place to overnight in Montrose. The staff was nice.

The room had a horrible smell, almost like a cleaner (Febreeze) used to cover up some other smells. Carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a decade.
