The Spit is a short walk through the gate at the back of the property, along a safe track to the beach. The view off the balcony was amazing. I loved listening to the waves crashing onto the beach, the birds in the trees, and seeing the sunrises and sunsets.

The staff were amazing ! They are so friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The large deck over looking the pool was lovely to sit and enjoy a beer. Quiet spot. Walking distance to the Wharf. Tons of shops and restaurants along with the aquarium. 10/10 would recommend staying at this place.

The two bedroom apartment was so spacious and plenty of room for 3 cots and two adults. The service we were given was above and beyond. So friendly and helpful. It is also perfectly located, close to everything.

Enjoyed our stay for 3 nights. Reception were super informative and friendly. The facilities in the apartment were fantastic. All very clean and provided everything from laundry liquid, kids bowls, cooking utensils to cleaning utensils. The location is perfect with the wharf promenade and beach just a 1min walk. Not close to any major supermarkets but there were enough convenient stores around. Only down side for us in the apartment was the bedrooms didn’t have aircon. We have 2 kids under 4 so it was a bit annoying in the heated nights but nothing major or off putting. Shall definitely come back at stay if we come back to Mooloolaba.

A wonderful stay
Hosts Lauren and Sidney made us feel very welcome. The apartment was comfortable and had a great outlook over the sea. The boardwalk, which was out the back gate, could take you to the beach, Point Cartwright or Mooloolaba shops and cafes/restaurants. The Wharf and Sealife Aquarium were just over the road. Everything was in easy walking distance.

The owners are beautiful and the apartment was outstanding... we had friends in a near by penthouse and i can honestly say id prefer the 2 bed apartment at the spit over the penthouse up the road. Felt at home immediately, didnt need for anything, just perfect

Overall our stay was okay. If I could give 3.5 stars, I would. We really appreciated the preemptive messages about setting up our babies cot, if we wanted a/c or fresh air and that we could check in early. (That was a nice touch). The location was ideal for going to the wharf, the boardwalk and the little town with a million restaurants! The hotel and our room were very clean. The pool and all the beach accessories were an awesome perk. We were a little disappointed in our room view as we chose an ocean view but it was definitely blocked by the trees on the 4th level. (As shown in photo) If we had been on a higher level it would have been more true to what we thought we were getting. Wifi was not reliable and we ended up chewing through a ton of our own data. Normally on vacation I wouldn’t care about these things but when you’re travelling with a baby, you are in your room a lot so both these items were a factor for us. The lower parking garage…….I mean obviously you can’t change the building structure but it is so so so challenging to get out of the lower parking garage. There was a state championship on the beach while we were there and you could not use the beach out front of the hotel the entire weekend.

I liked the size of the apartment and outlook onto the bush and hearing the surf nearby. Ceiling fans good but no aircon , surely essential in summer. The remote controls for ceiling fans complicated and unusual. No-one in the reception, but answered telephone promptly. However, no instructions about check-out so left keys outside office where no one was at 7:30 am Sunday and did not get a receipt.
