Getaway

Every time we stay here, we have a good experience. It is always clean and everyone is nice. With the convenience of shopping and restaurants in walking distance and the beach is a short drive, Garnet Inn & Suites is a great place to stay.

Every time we had to go to the desk atleast 10min for staff to come, water in room and room smelt like musty wet smell, shower didn’t work, water outside every door so you can slip awful walking. From AC. Outside needs repair.

It’s a run down motel that they tried to upgrade but have not kept it up since the upgrade. Stained sheets and towels and bathrooms look like they had mold in them. Breakfast was terrible no eggs just a waffle maker, bread in ziplock bags, processed microwave breakfast patties, granola bars, sugary yogurts…if you are health conscious there is no breakfast. For what we payed for the room it should have been way better!

Over all the stay was fine. The one BIG problem I had was the door. The latch lock looked like it had been kicked in because it was REAL loose. When leaving, the door didn't close all the way! We had to physically pull on the handle to close the door. A new room wasn't requested due to the fact that I had alternate means of protection.
