Great location

The room was spacious. I like the partition between the 2 beds. The view was nice to the marsh. Could use a little updating. Can't beat the location.

The staff was amazingly helpful and nice. We got in later than expected 1 am and Marshal was super helpful, got us our room right away. And then texted us several times through out the week to ensure we had everything we needed. Lynn always greeted us with a smile whenever she was there. The room was super clean, the views amazing, and the bed wonderfully comfortable. The Pool was clean and delightful during the hot days of our stay. We will definitely be coming back !

Great stay will definitely stay here again!

Whelp minus the TV catching fire. Nothing serious just a little short circuit, they quickly gave us a new room and apologized for the inconvenience. Very quick turn around the staff was very friendly and accommodating the entire time. At night it was very quiet. Pool was refreshing the dock has the best view of the sunset.

Overall stay was great. If you want to get to the beach you will need to cross a busy street, thankfully there is a light and crosswalk right in front of the hotel. And then about 3 more blocks then you have a great entrance to the beach. I wouldn't recommend driving as that specific entrance has no where to park your car. The room was good. The only thing i would say is that the laundry machine and dryer are $2.50 each in quarters so come prepared

This place was exactly what we needed. Somewhere to lay our heads at night because we were spending our days out and about. Nothing fancy, but we weren’t looking for fancy. Palm Suites is unique in that each room is individually owned. Those that run the from desk have nothing to do with the condition of the rooms. Only complaint is the box springs on both beds in our room were awful. Every time you moved they were extremely loud Sharon ran the day shift,Marshall the night shift. Both were very helpful. If you are looking for a no frills place to stay at the beach and are on a budget, I’d take the chance that you get a good room. We’ll stay here again

Mixed review, because the staff we encountered was friendly and the initial appearance of the hotel was nice- cute little lobby, nicely decorated. I assumed our room would appear similar based on the pictures we saw online when booking. Our room was sadly not really up to par. While it wasn’t dirty, it was just very dingy and uncomfortable. Tile floors, terribly hard mattresses with only two uncomfortable pillows each, poor lighting, and not enough outlets. The hotel’s towel policy needs to be amended. We had 3 people in the room, we should have had 3 towels. We ended up using beach towels! The walls of our room were very thin, and the decor was just… icky. Not cute, very dated. The bathroom was very basic, painted dark blue which wasn’t the best choice as it made it dim, and the mirror was too low. No coffee filters in the room or at the front desk, so the basic amenities in the room couldn’t even be used. We did use the pool and thought it was fine. We only stayed one night and I’m glad we didn’t have a longer stay planned because for almost $200 a night it absolutely wasn’t worth it. I understand that each unit is privately owned but this hotel needs serious updating and all units should be held to the same standard as the lobby. We chose it due to its close proximity to the activities we had planned but if we were to revisit the area in the future we would most likely stay in Beaufort or Morehead City where there are better accommodations.

Front desk had labels on everything relating to what they couldn't do or take. My room was in the process of a remodel and many details unfinished. Light over sink was out and room had poor lighting in general. Kitchen cabinet had dishes in it with a broken lock. Bathroom door had been removed and replaced with barndoor but the cleanup of hinges and doorframe was not clean and left unfinished. Under sink had cans of paint and tools left in it. Found out that these rooms are individually owned condos that get rented out. Location around hotel just average to sketchy. Go somewhere else.
