Small hotel with very friendly staff. They don’t have a full breakfast but the pastries they gave us were better than a standard continental breakfast anyways. I’d stay here again.

From the outside it looks like a route 66 motel from the 60s. I was in room 2. It's updated with everything you expect in a hotel today. I appreciated the Keurig with Starbucks and the breakfast bag. The room was clean and comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay. Room was comfortable and clean. Toilet a little dated. I guess there is no guest room cleaning service done because ours was not cleaned. We would stay there again. We were only there to sleep.

Road Warrior Route 66
We travel between Abilene, Texas and Phoenix, Arizona frequently. We find motels on the Historic Route 66 to stay at if we need a motel. This motel is top notch.

This motel was established in 1959 and, despite modernizations and comforts which are appreciated, it maintains the charm of a bygone era. Such a charming motel and lovely staff. They are also very welcoming to pets and offer a lush green grass walking area along with bed covers specifically for the dogs. So thoughtful. Don't pass this place by if you are travelling through.

The check-in person was very sweet. The doggie area was squeaky clean, and the room was good. The beds are a bit over-firm. The property is well kept and pleasant. It felt very safe and we will stay there again. The check in person gave us a goodie bag with fruit and other excellent goodies. Very worth the cost. Thank you!

I love this place! I have stayed numerous times and when possible adjust my schedule to make this a stop. It's so "Route 66" in feel and decor. The folks who run it are very nice and accommodating. Take away breakfast is always yummy. If you're traveling this way, make this your favorite stop!

The Only Route 66 Original in New Mexico!
This was one of the most delightful stays we have had. The place was immaculate! The family who runs it - still - has done an amazing job! The fridge was a great size. Local food is great! (Chilli Hills - popular with the locals for good reason!) The room was flawlessly clean. Even extra blankets already staged! The updated climate control unit really good the job at keeping us warm, or cool, or of taking the humidity out of the room after we showered in the VERY hot shower! Came onto town for the Balloon Fiesta and got engaged while we were there. And you know what? It was the perfect motel for us to stay in at the end of the day. Plenty of curious points of interest nearby! Thank you, so very much, to the staff and to Mike and Debbie for preserving this amazing pocket of Route 66 History!

Great place to stay!

Owner was a nice lady. Gave us a little gift bag with breakfast which was awesome. Also gave us a paper on information for the balloon fiesta we were going to that was really helpful. My kids loved the little rubber ducky in the bathroom

We do a trip to Arkansas from Nevada one to two times a year. This is our favorite place to stop. The owners are always amazing out first leg is about 19 hours which means we don’t always make it before their office closes. But they always work with us to ensure we can access our room.
