Nice Quiet Comfort for the Night

It was a very nice room, well decorated, with nice amenities and a very comfortable bed. The linens were in great shape, clean, with no stains and minor wear. The shower had excellent water pressure. Breakfast was nice, with some variety. The room has a patio.

They had coffee and cookies for when you arrived. The rooms were clean and we stayed on the second floor and there was a balcony which to go out and sit. The Cracker Barrel was an easy walk for dinner. They had a breakfast with eggs, bacon, etc… and you could get cereal, toast, muffins, waffles and juice if you like. All in all, a nice place to stay.

It was a family trip to an anniversary party and vow renewal. Our stay was wonderful, the room was very clean, the beds were comfy, the sofa bed was even comfortable, the pillows were a little too thick for my Mom and son who like thin pillows but I like mine thick so I loved them. Thanks for the great weekend!!!

Price was right. However, I was greeted be an employee at the front desk with zero personality and interest in my business. I was given very vague instructions as to where my room was. Very few vehicles in the parking lot as it was a Monday night. I was given a room with an adjoining room. Why? I don't know. I could hear the adjoining rooms TV as if it was on in my room. Room was also on the hotel side of the highway. Why not give me a better room? it was 8pm on a Monday and the hotel was at 25% occupancy if that. Breakfast included. It was okay. All and all, not the worst hotel stay I have ever had...but certainly not even close to the best. Do better.

Roaches in the rooms!!

Do not stay here unless you absolutely have zero options left. Upon walking in the room, I noticed a heavy smoke smell (the room I booked was supposed to be non-smoking). I went to the front desk and unfortunately there wasn’t any available rooms to swap to so I stayed and tried to ignore the smell. I left to do a little shopping and when I came back I watched a roach crawl across the dresser and slip behind the fridge! I immediately packed up all of my things and checked out. The front desk staff was very friendly and tried to help the best they could. Unfortunately they did not have the power to refund me for my stay, but said they would let the manager know when they arrived in the morning. I left my name and number at the office and booked another hotel room for the night. I have called several times and left a message just asking them to call me back, and have heard nothing yet. I can’t get ahold of the manager at all. Warning to all (especially those with families looking to book) please avoid staying here if possible.
