The staff was nice and as efficient as possible when it was quite busy. The rooms were clean if a bit outdated. The mattresses were not firm and sank a bit. The air was also a bit weird you had two temperatures boiling hot or ice cold with a breeze. Overall I would stay there again but come prepared to sleep in ever changing climate conditions. 🙃

We very much enjoy the convenience of the location to historic Mount Airy and to many scenic drives. The property was inviting and decorated in an autumn theme which made for a warm atmosphere at breakfast. The breakfast attendant was wonderful. Check in was a busy time but the lady at the desk was so friendly and wonderful at multitasking! Our rooms (2) were immaculate and plenty of towels and wash cloths! We would definitely recommend!

Wh had a queen beds suite and it is very spacious. The furniture was nice with a soft and a love seat. The beds very comfortable, neither 2 soft nor 2 hard. The bath/commode was separate from the wash basin area and this was nice for two people too. be able to use both simultaneously. The location was ok if you like to be in the middle of many, many fast food restaurants without a safe way to cross the street to other side where more fast food restaurants await. But th it is only about 1-2 miles to downtown. The breakfast, however, was awful. The food was the worst we have ever experienced at a Hampton's. The breakfast meat was basically a hot dog cut up, and hard boiled eggs and a fake omelet. For a lactose intolerant person, the omelet was out, as was the waffles and oatmeal. The coffee was fare.

Hard beds. High costs.

The facility was fine. Hard beds and bad pillows made for an uncomfortable night and the price was really high-$199 on a Thursday. The kicker was that there was a $75 pet fee when we arrived so we paid $275 for a terrible night of sleep.
