Mount Hampden Vacation Packages

This hotel claims they do not operate through Expedia, arrived at hotel late at night and they claimed to have no record of my booking despite funds having been taken by Expedia (Owner claims he has been trying to get the hotel removed from Expedia for the last 2 years??). Had to spend hours on phone with Expedia, at international roaming rates, to try and get a refund so that we could pay the hotel directly. Accommodation itself was poor, shower spraying into the ceiling with either scolding or ice cold water, damp seeping through all the walls in the main living area and socks were brown as a result of dirt on the floor. Avoid.

Lovely people but the place is run down and the room had very old linens- towels that probably can never be white again. I was afraid to use them. Breakfast was like anything one would make at home except not even like that. Disappointing experience

Pleasant stay

I had loverly stay. Facilities well presented, clean and maintained. Great quality food. I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to all staff - outstanding personalised work.

Great grounds, very well maintained. Great room and bathroom. Excellent food and restaurant. Very helpful staff. If decidedly stay here again if I come back to Harare. Thanks for a great stay.
