We're Rowan parents and have been staying here for a couple of years for school weekend events. Recently twice this month, October, we've been disappointed in the breakfasts. The rooms and staff have always been nice.

The property was nice, the food was good for breakfast, the room was clean and had all the toiletries that I could use if I had forgotten mine! I was a little disappointed to find out the pool has not been open since Covid, but they have not taken it off of their list of amenities.

I booked this property and gave it preference over others in the area exclusively because it had an indoor pool. As I was traveling with my grandkids, it was very important to me. When we arrived, we were told, that the pool was under a long term renovation. It ruined my plans for the stay. I don't know whose fault that is - the property's or the Expedia's but it is a very big error to my mind.

Our room was on the B level (basement) which I wasn’t very happy about. Chirp—chirp—-chirp, there was a cricket in our room and fortunately I was able to locate the intruder and take care of the problem myself, otherwise we would have had to move. Went to use the exercise room , but my key would not work. Went upstairs to talk to the manager at the administrative offices and was told the lock is broken and there were no maintenance people working.

Had to change rooms. It had a broken toilet handle and also the refrigerator was not working. 2nd room also had broken toilet handle but was functional. Also, bed frame was bent up in the middle and looked broken and not the right frame. It was not comfortable.

The manager was very rude. They changed our room from a suite to a standard room without letting us know. When we asked about it we got conflicting responses. The pool was closed and ice machines broken.

WiFi was not the best at all. Beds are not very comfortable. Shower had okay pressure but couldn't find the hot water when turned all the way to hot. We had to play with the handle to find hot water. Pillows were not comfortable. A large unknown bug was in our shower. The hotel is convenient to many areas however. Breakfast was good. Didn't see the pool but from what I have heard, it is not open anymore. I have always had good luck at Hampton Inns too.
