Not a good experience

The first room I was assigned had two lightbulbs out. It only two hangers and one drawer. The second room I was assigned to had plenty of hangers, but the bathroom shower was dirty. Scum in corners of the shower and filth in the drain. Coffee pot was dusty. I’m glad I only had to spend one night there.

Nice place, parking nightmare

I’ve stayed here before, it is a nice clean hotel with a friendly staff. The only issue I had was trying to find a parking spot when I got back Friday night. It seems that it was adult night at the amusements building next door and it was absolutely packed and those patrons were using the hotels parking spaces. The hotel had put up these pointless little barriers that had been run/knocked over that didn’t stop anybody. There was not a spot to be had in the front or back of the hotel. A front desk associate was kind enough to move her vehicle, since she was leaving soon, so that I could park. She was outside fixing a barrier with someone from the amusements building. I mentioned that the vehicles in the hotel lot that shouldn’t be there should be towed, of course, the amusements guy disagreed, but whatever. I’ll just say that if this is your hotel and you can’t or won’t guarantee parking to your guests, then you’re probably in the wrong line of work. Thank you again to the kind young lady that gave me her spot

Our room key didn’t work initially, so I had to take my child and all of our belongings back down to the desk for a new key. They gave me the same key which didn’t work again, so I had to do that whole process a second time, at 10:00 at night with a tired child. Once we got into the room, the air conditioning was barely putting out any cold air, in the middle of August, and the fan blower was so incredibly loud it sounded like an airplane was in our room. We had driven for 17 hours that day and were too exhausted to change rooms or deal with another issue, so we just tolerated it but got very little sleep.
