Dirty stained bedding, dirty stained carpets, dirty toilets. Luckily i had disenfectant and my own bedding. Lobby smells awful. And the very loud fire alarm went off at around 9am staff NOT trying to evacuate or let everyone know if it was ok. Just seemed like a regular problem there. Wont stay there again.

WE did not use laundry facilities, but I must give the night manager high praise for he was busy handling late arrivals, and fire alarms caused by people vaping in one room, He quickly silenced the alarm so that even my wife was not wakend by the alarm. I went to the lounge area very early to work and observed this first hand.

You get what you pay for. The whole hotel had a very strong chemical cleaning smell. One ancient elevator and it smelled terrible inside and worked very, very slowly. Ice machine on our floor did not work at all. One cup coffee pod in in the room so not even enough for 2 people. Fire alarm in hallway went off twice around 5 in the morning and woke up the entire group we were with. It kept going off long enough we really thought there was an emergency, then it stopped. Air conditioning in one of our rooms didn't work so had to get a new room. Front desk person was very nice and efficient, and the beds/pillows/shower were great, but I would never stay there again.

Good location and the beds were very comfortable. The smell from the cleaning solution was very strong/overpowering. The fire alarms went off twice through the early morning (2-5 am), making it for an unpleasant sleeping experience.

We have stayed at the Mount Pleasant Super 8 many times over the pas 4 years while our daughter goes to school there. It has improved quite a bit. Check in went smoothly, the room was clean, and the staff was friendly. The only negative is the breakfast is limited but they now have a waffle maker which is popular.

The microwave was dirty, the carpet down the hall was stained. The room smelled bad. The bed felt wet. It did not look very clean. Marks on the walls, no dust ruffle or box spring.

Clean room, good location Did not like that they more than doubled the usual rate per night for parents weekend. And the breakfast were entirely inadequate, especially for paying $200//$250 a night!!

The hotel was very busy with a concert and CMU parent weekend. There was dirty underwear in the stairwell and one of our rooms was given to another desk. Literally, our reservation sheet with my name and someone else’s car information. We did get a replacement room but it took awhile. It was fine for a Super 8 but not for the price gouging prices that occur during these busy events.
