The inn (which is just a motel) is a few minutes driving from downtown Mt. Shasta and we ate at a good Thai restaurant and two coffee shops a few minutes away by car. There are no sidewalks along the street so walking our dog in the area was problematic.
The room bed was fine but the room was dark with little illumination from the various lamps. The significant problem was the bathroom.
The bathroom had no exhaust fan for removing moisture from the room during showers, and the bathroom door stuck in place after showers, and my spouse had to open it by pushing from outside the bathroom.
The bathroom had a sliding window but no screen, and a vine had grown into the bathroom window and frame (between the two sliding glass panes), so we couldn't open the window very far.
I reported the above to the management and they didn't take any action.
There was a 1/4" gap in the vinyl tile flooring at the entrance to the bathroom, that someone could cut their toe on. I provided that info to the management, and they said they would look at it after we checked-out.
For the price, we expected a better-maintained room and more responsive management. They could have at least had someone cut the vine growing into the bathroom window.
