The heater was so loud ! Like a jet engine - we were watching tv at 9pm and had to turn it up to hear over the heater - we got a courtesy text that our tv was too loud - quiet hours start at 10 and we literally could not hear it over the heater - The toilet was leaking and the neighbors on the bed sis wood is had their tv on ALL NIGHT and they were up partying - so we got no sleep - great concept but horrible execution of the idea - The gear fee was also a scam - I paid $25 to have a yeti cooler in my room - pretty lame - the s’mores kit was an open bag in The lobby for anyone to stick their hands in - gross- I was also looking forward to a firepit - solo stoves are easy and enjoyable - I’m bummed because I was so excited to stay here - total let down

Imagine Through Hiking the PCT!!

At first I did not"get the vibe", but as I noted features one by one understanding dawned and a fuller light filled me ... until I unfurled the hammock and swung the New Year in! Next morning I filled the electric kettle noted my choice of teas, or coffee pored hot water for lemon water and oatmeal and performed adjustments and repairs to my imaginary touring bike attached firmly at waist hight off the wall.

Definitely an older property. Rooms could definitely use a thorough cleaning especially the floors and shower. Linens were clean, great pillows and comfortable bed. Love the self checkin.

This property was very disappointing. We had a family suite and the larger bed had an extremely uncomfortable mattress with a giant divot in it. It was literally a hole that you fell into. I think the frame was broken? There were big patches of mold on the glass shower door and the shower itself was not appealing. We didn’t use it. The grounds were not well kept (chairs knocked over, grill tools out and rusting, and no staff to be seen). It was very disappointing given that we’ve seen other Loge locations and were excited to stay here.

Great concept, needs refining!

I like this property. It’s a neat concept and anytime one of the sleeping options is a hammock hanging from two sides of the room, that’s pretty cool. It has a very hipster/mountain vibe. Very eco friendly and has a couple of very cool amenities. A yeti cooler in the room along with a nice size mini fridge and microwave. The beds are good and the bathroom is a good size. Did I mention that they have boot/show dryers in the room! A couple things I didn’t like and keep me from giving this a 5 star rating; the heater is an in widow AC/Heat unit that was loud and annoying as hell, you had to choose to either not sleep or freeze and the fact that we could see light coming all around the door (no weather stripping) didn’t help with the temperature issues. Overall I liked this property and the concept, they just need to apply a little attention to detail.
