This place was beautiful. The trees the birds. But the best thing was the service. Max was great Jesse was great. Haven’t had this kind of service unless we were on a cruise. The only problem was we only were able to stay one night. But we will return.

Super cute inn! We only stayed for one quick night on our road trip. Got in past check in time and was emailed over check in instructions and also got a phone call to go over everything so we could go right to the room. Very spacious and updated room. We brought our two dogs and they were well accommodated for. Would highly recommend

It was great! We wanted peace and quiet and we got it. A private cottage with a private driveway, in the woods. The walk-in shower was great. The jetted tub was soooo relaxing. The bed was soft and comfortable. I loved the skylights above the bed so you could see the huge Pines moving in the wind. The breakfast they brought was very good. I liked the small menu. Very simple. Overall it was very enjoyable and very well worth it. Most people want a vacation and travel everywhere for a honeymoon we just wanted to break from life and to relax and it provided that perfectly. We would definitely consider coming back next time we feel we need a break. Many thanks to the staff. They did a great job

The staff at this inn are unbelievable. The manager Max, is the kindest, most caring I have ever experienced in any hotel or airbnb. He went out of his way to ensure everything was perfect for us and after we had left and we accidentally left a bag he immediately alerted us so we could come back and get it. Just excellent customer care!

Our stay at the Gray Squirrel room was great! The bed was comfy, the room was so spacious and having the separate bedroom/livingroom was really nice! This room was upstairs and felt very private. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. We will definitely be back if we visit the area again…

Very spacious and clean accomodations. Wonderful attentive staff that are happy to make sure everything is nice for the stay. Just a note for those who want to stay right beside Shasta Lake- this is a little over a mile away from the water. This was fine for us though. Hope to return in the future.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Inn at Shasta Lake, and I can't say enough good things about our experience! Nestled in a stunning landscape, the inn offers a peaceful retreat just a stone's throw from I-5, making it incredibly convenient for travelers. We stayed in the Squirrel Room, which was impressively spacious and featured a large jacuzzi—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The cleanliness of the room was outstanding, and it truly felt like a home away from home. One of the highlights of our stay was the daily breakfast brought right to our room. It was a delightful way to start each day, allowing us to savor our meal while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. This thoughtful touch gave us more time to plan our adventures! The hosts, Ruby and Jaime, were fantastic—so welcoming and attentive to our needs. And we can't forget Max, the manager, who was incredibly responsive to any inquiries we had. As if that wasn't enough, the inn also features a charming treehouse and a private room with its own driveway, both of which are definitely worth checking out! We've found our go-to spot for family trips up north. We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to return! Highly recommend The Inn at Shasta Lake for anyone looking for a memorable getaway.

Service was wonderful. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate us. The daily breakfast was very nice. Flavors tended toward Indian spices, which, we liked. However, the coffee and tea had a bad taste. Room was very nice. Location is convenient to the main highway. Minor complaint is a bit of road noise from the highway. Would stay here again.

Liked the landscaping. Noise in the apartment above me until late. Staff did not speak English. Not really pet friendly as advertised. Not actually “ at the Lake” as advertised. Lake several miles away. Convenient to I-5 and a peaceful alternative to lodging in Redding.

Ruby and staff were very welcoming. They communcated with us prior to our arrival. The lobby and dinning are charming. However, the Jack Rabbit room is deceiving... thought we had booked a beautiful room as pictured on the website. We were moved to a small dark, dog friendly room, which was in a small corner of the facilities on the ground floor. It did have a king bed, but under the bed was disgusting... filthy. Shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned as well. We could hear everything the people upstairs were saying and every step they took ( until 11:45 pm) No ventilation. Perhaps the other rooms were nicer .very disappointed. underthe bed was discusst
