Appeared at first glance it looked cozy, but we found pubic hairs in the bathroom, woman's hair on the shower handle, scum film in the bathtub and to top it off a bug on the bed. Other than that pretty good.

Great place to stay the night.

Ship Harbor Inn was a great place to stay the night. It is clean, cute, had a great breakfast and was in a great location. The views from the rooms are beautiful. I wish we had longer to stay and experience the surrounding area.

Need improvement.

The lady who checked us in was efficient but not friendly and offered no info about the place or area. Our room was fine but the TV was about 19 inches. So if you wanted to watch some before bed it was difficult to see. The bed was comfy and extra blanket in closet was nice. We had an oversized jacuzzi tub which was one of the best I've had, but the toilet was made for kindergarteners. The kind that our grand kids have in school. That might be the smallest toilet I've ever sat on. Don't expect good coffee because the creamer was the powder type. There were a few bagels, some bread, oatmeal (not great fixing for it) yogurt and a few other things. WORST I've ever seen but the lady working it was so nice . I feel bad because management does not give her much to serve. Over all was not a bad stay just a lot to be desired.

Couples weekend stay.

The room was great with a tub and kitchenette. Plenty of space in the bathroom and i loved the double showers. The front desk staff was very accomidating and went out of their way to assist us. Some things not so great were the missing silverware. We had 10 spoons but no knives, forks or plates. We also only got one disposable cup for cold drinks and one of the coffee cups still had grounds in it. The bed was beautifully made and seemed cozy but beware! Its the hardest bed Ive ever slept on. Its so firm Inever knew beds were made that firm. Our view was great and the grounds were clean and beautifully maintained. We even got yo see deer running around.

The jetted tub was obviously dirty (there were pine needles) as was the bathroom mirror (there was a hair and smudges on it). The whole room seemed a bit run-down. Also, all of the water (sink/shower/tub) was LOUD. I felt bad running the shower late because of the neighbors and was woken up multiple times by neighbors running their water.

Housekeeping is ruining this beautiful hotel

Our late check-in (8:45) was hustle free-the key was placed outside in the lock box beside the office door with lock code texted by receptionist. The main floor ( not lawn level) double queen bed room looked pretty neat, so was the bathroom. The toilet, however, was covered with p** and h**r all over- it was not cleaned up at all. So I had to use my disinfecting wipes to clean it up inside out. Then we discovered mold inside the microwave- it was soiled and leftovers on the plate had been consumed by mold. The microwave was placed on top of little refrigerator, which was also dirty with so much dust on top of it. The carpet around it under the table was not vacuumed for a long time. I was just sad that the housekeeping brought down the first good impression of the hotel because the property is nice and location is convenient with trails leading to the shore and ferries. The staff, young gentleman, was very helpful and friendly.
